KARAWANG – Polemik penumpukan sampah dan limbah yang selama kurang lebih tiga bulan meresahkan warga Desa Margasari akhirnya berhasil diselesaikan.
Berkat sinergi antara Bhabinkamtibmas dan Babinsa yang mengedepankan pendekatan humanis, persoalan tersebut menemukan jalan keluar tanpa menimbulkan konflik.
Di lokasi, Bhabinkamtibmas Desa Margasari Aiptu Andi Setiadi bersama Babinsa AD Desa Margasari turun langsung melakukan mediasi antara pemilik limbah dengan warga.
Penumpukan sampah yang tak kunjung dipindahkan sebelumnya dikhawatirkan memicu bau tak sedap, pencemaran lingkungan, hingga gangguan kesehatan masyarakat.
Alih-alih mengambil langkah represif, Aiptu Andi memilih mengedepankan dialog dan komunikasi secara persuasif.
Dengan pendekatan dari hati ke hati, ia memberikan pemahaman mengenai dampak negatif penumpukan limbah terhadap lingkungan maupun masyarakat sekitar.
“Kami hadir bukan untuk menakut-nakuti. Kami datang untuk mencari solusi bersama. Sampah ini kalau dibiarkan terus akan merugikan kita semua, termasuk Bapak sendiri. Mari kita selesaikan dengan cara kekeluargaan agar desa kita tetap bersih dan sehat,” ujar Aiptu Andi Setiadi.
Tak hanya itu, Babinsa Desa Margasari juga turut memberikan edukasi dan mengajak pemilik limbah segera menindaklanjuti persoalan tersebut, baik dengan membuang sampah ke tempat pembuangan akhir maupun menjual limbah yang masih memiliki nilai ekonomi kepada pengepul.
Pendekatan yang mengutamakan komunikasi dua arah itu akhirnya membuahkan hasil. Pemilik limbah bersedia membersihkan tumpukan sampah dalam waktu dekat, sehingga persoalan yang sempat berlarut-larut selama tiga bulan dapat segera dituntaskan.
Keberhasilan mediasi ini pun disambut positif oleh warga. Mereka mengapresiasi langkah cepat serta pendekatan humanis yang dilakukan aparat TNI-Polri dalam menyelesaikan persoalan di tengah masyarakat.
Kepala Desa Margasari juga menyampaikan rasa terima kasih atas peran aktif Bhabinkamtibmas dan Babinsa.
