KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Dunia pendidikan di Kabupaten Karawang kembali menjadi sorotan setelah muncul dugaan tindak asusila yang melibatkan seorang oknum guru di salah satu SMK swasta di Kecamatan Batujaya.
Seorang guru berinisial D diduga melakukan pelecehan terhadap seorang siswinya.
Informasi yang dihimpun menyebutkan, kasus serupa diduga pernah terjadi di lingkungan sekolah tersebut, sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran di tengah masyarakat.
Peristiwa ini terjadi pada Jumat malam, 17 April 2026. Warga yang mengetahui dugaan kejadian tersebut langsung mendatangi terduga pelaku.
Situasi sempat memanas dan nyaris berujung pada aksi main hakim sendiri.
Beruntung, aparat kepolisian segera mengamankan terduga pelaku ke Polsek Batujaya guna mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.
Dugaan pelecehan terungkap setelah korban dipergoki bersama pelaku di sebuah ruangan di rumah korban.
Dari keterangan pihak keluarga, tindakan tersebut diduga telah berlangsung berulang kali sejak tahun 2024, terutama saat kondisi rumah dalam keadaan sepi.
Pihak keluarga korban menyatakan keberatan dan memilih menempuh jalur hukum atas dugaan perbuatan tersebut.
“Kami sangat keberatan atas kejadian ini dan memilih menempuh jalur hukum,” ujar R, paman korban.
Saat ini, terduga pelaku telah diamankan dan kasusnya ditangani oleh Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Polres Karawang untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
“Kami berharap kasus ini diproses secara adil dan transparan,Informasinya, kejadian ini bukan pertama kali terjadi,” tambahnya.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, pihak yayasan yang menaungi sekolah tersebut belum memberikan keterangan resmi.
