KARAWANG – Polresta Karawang kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat dengan menerjunkan 83 personel untuk mengamankan pelaksanaan ibadah Minggu di sejumlah gereja yang berada di wilayah hukum Polresta Karawang, Minggu (2/8/2026).
Pengamanan dilakukan sejak sebelum ibadah dimulai hingga seluruh rangkaian kegiatan selesai. Langkah ini dilakukan guna memastikan umat Kristiani dapat menjalankan ibadah dengan aman, nyaman, dan penuh kekhusyukan.
Salah satu gereja yang menjadi fokus pengamanan adalah Gereja Kristen Pasundan (GKP) Ebenhaezer Kabupaten Karawang. Ibadah yang dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB mengangkat tema “Tuhan Mengiringi Kita” dan dipimpin oleh Pendeta Deaby Wardyanti, S.Si., serta diikuti sekitar 150 jemaat.
Di lokasi tersebut, pengamanan dilakukan oleh Aiptu Nana Mulyana, Aiptu Tarjono, dan Aipda A. Yusup. Ketiga personel melaksanakan pemantauan dan pengawasan di sekitar area gereja untuk mengantisipasi potensi gangguan keamanan sekaligus memberikan rasa aman kepada para jemaat.
Kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari pengamanan serentak yang melibatkan total 83 personel Polresta Karawang di berbagai gereja yang melaksanakan ibadah Minggu di wilayah Kabupaten Karawang.
Kapolresta Karawang Kombes Pol. Mario Prahatinto melalui Kasi Humas Ipda Cep Wildan menegaskan, pengamanan rumah ibadah merupakan bentuk pelayanan Polri kepada masyarakat sekaligus upaya menjaga situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas) agar tetap kondusif.
“Polresta Karawang akan terus hadir memberikan pengamanan dalam setiap kegiatan keagamaan sebagai wujud pelayanan kepada masyarakat serta menjamin setiap warga dapat menjalankan ibadah dengan aman dan nyaman,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Hingga seluruh rangkaian ibadah berakhir, situasi di seluruh gereja yang mendapat pengamanan dilaporkan berlangsung aman, tertib, dan kondusif, tanpa adanya gangguan keamanan.
