KARAWANG – Aksi dugaan pencurian dengan kekerasan (curas) kembali membuat warga Karawang harus meningkatkan kewaspadaan. Seorang pelajar berinisial WA (17) diduga menjadi korban perampasan saat melintas di Jalan Syechquro, Dusun Cilewo, Desa Cilewo, Kecamatan Telagasari, Rabu (12/8/2026) sekitar pukul 00.30 WIB.
Dalam kejadian tersebut, korban kehilangan satu unit sepeda motor Honda Beat Deluxe warna hijau serta satu unit telepon seluler Oppo A3S warna merah.
Informasi kejadian langsung ditindaklanjuti personel Polsek Telagasari Polresta Karawang. Petugas piket SPKT dan patroli mendatangi lokasi untuk melakukan pengecekan TKP serta mengumpulkan keterangan dari korban dan saksi.
Kapolresta Karawang Kombes Pol Mario Prahatinto melalui Kasi Humas Polresta Karawang Ipda Cep Wildan mengatakan, petugas telah melakukan pemeriksaan awal dan mengarahkan korban untuk membuat laporan resmi.
“Petugas melakukan pengecekan TKP, mencatat identitas korban dan saksi, kemudian memberikan arahan kepada korban untuk membuat laporan di Polsek Telagasari agar kejadian dapat ditindaklanjuti,” ujarnya.
Diduga Ditodong Cutter
Berdasarkan keterangan awal korban, aksi tersebut bermula ketika korban mengantarkan temannya dari wilayah Parev menuju Desa Lemahabang Wadas, Kecamatan Lemahabang.
Setelah mengantarkan temannya, korban pulang seorang diri. Saat melintas di lokasi kejadian, korban diduga dihentikan oleh dua pria yang berboncengan menggunakan sepeda motor jenis bebek.
Salah seorang pelaku kemudian turun dan diduga menodongkan cutter ke arah korban. Dalam kondisi terancam, sepeda motor dan telepon seluler korban kemudian diduga dirampas.
Kedua pelaku selanjutnya melarikan diri menggunakan sepeda motor ke arah Lemahabang Wadas.
Polisi Kejar Pelaku
Polsek Telagasari tidak tinggal diam. Petugas langsung melakukan pengecekan awal di lokasi dan mengumpulkan informasi yang dapat membantu proses penyelidikan.
Identitas dan keberadaan para pelaku kini menjadi fokus penyelidikan kepolisian. Korban juga telah diarahkan untuk menempuh proses pelaporan resmi agar perkara dapat ditangani sesuai prosedur hukum.
Polisi mengimbau masyarakat yang mengetahui informasi mengenai keberadaan maupun ciri-ciri pelaku agar segera melaporkannya kepada kepolisian.
Kasus ini menjadi pengingat keras agar masyarakat tidak lengah saat berkendara seorang diri pada malam hari. Polisi juga menegaskan akan menindak setiap aksi kriminal yang mengancam keamanan dan keselamatan warga.
