KARAWANG – Bursa calon Ketua Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD) Desa Kutajaya, Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang, mulai memanas menjelang proses pemilihan.
Salah satu nama yang menyatakan siap maju adalah M. Wawan, yang membawa visi perubahan dengan mengedepankan transparansi, kebersamaan, serta pembangunan yang berpihak kepada kepentingan masyarakat.
M. Wawan dikenal sebagai putra asli Desa Kutajaya yang berasal dari keluarga petani. Meski berlatar belakang keluarga petani, kiprahnya di dunia organisasi dan politik desa dinilai telah memberikan pengalaman yang cukup dalam memahami kebutuhan masyarakat.
Di kalangan warga, khususnya pemuda hingga orang tua, M. Wawan dikenal sebagai sosok yang mudah bergaul, terbuka, dan aktif menjalin komunikasi dengan berbagai lapisan masyarakat.
Jika mendapat amanah sebagai Ketua BPD Desa Kutajaya periode 2026, M. Wawan menegaskan komitmennya untuk menjadikan BPD sebagai jembatan antara pemerintah desa dan masyarakat.
Menurutnya, setiap aspirasi warga harus didengar, diperjuangkan, dan dikawal agar setiap program pembangunan benar-benar sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.
“Insya Allah, saya ingin membawa Desa Kutajaya menjadi desa yang lebih maju melalui keterbukaan, kebersamaan, dan semangat gotong royong. BPD harus hadir sebagai wadah yang siap menampung serta memperjuangkan aspirasi seluruh warga,” ujar M. Wawan.
Ia meyakini kemajuan desa hanya dapat terwujud apabila seluruh elemen masyarakat bersatu dan saling mendukung tanpa membedakan latar belakang.
Selain itu, M. Wawan juga memohon doa dan dukungan dari seluruh masyarakat Desa Kutajaya agar niat baiknya dalam mencalonkan diri sebagai Ketua BPD diberikan kemudahan serta amanah untuk mengemban tugas apabila dipercaya oleh masyarakat.
“Saya memohon doa restu kepada seluruh warga Kutajaya. Semoga niat baik ini dimudahkan dan apabila diberikan amanah, saya siap menjalankan tugas dengan penuh tanggung jawab demi kemajuan desa,” tuturnya.
Melalui komunikasi yang terbuka, sinergi dengan masyarakat, serta pengawasan yang objektif terhadap jalannya pemerintahan desa, M. Wawan berharap BPD dapat menjalankan fungsi legislasi, pengawasan, dan penyaluran aspirasi secara maksimal.
