KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Tim Taktis Sanggabuana Satreskrim Polres Karawang yang dipimpin oleh AKP M. Nazal Fawwaz berhasil mengungkap kasus pencurian kendaraan bermotor roda dua (R2) dengan mengamankan dua orang terduga pelaku di wilayah Kecamatan Rengasdengklok, Kabupaten Karawang.
Penangkapan dilakukan pada Rabu, 4 Februari 2026, sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB, setelah polisi melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan berdasarkan laporan masyarakat.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Cep Wildan menjelaskan bahwa pengungkapan kasus tersebut berawal dari dua laporan polisi yang diterima pada tanggal 4 Februari 2026 terkait aksi pencurian sepeda motor di lokasi dan waktu yang berbeda.
“Berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan mendalam, Tim Taktis Sanggabuana berhasil mengamankan dua terduga pelaku berinisial AS dan S yang diduga kuat terlibat dalam tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan kendaraan bermotor sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 477 KUHPidana,” ujar IPDA Cep Wildan.
Ia mengungkapkan, peristiwa pencurian pertama terjadi pada Jumat, 30 Januari 2026, di wilayah Desa Sindangkarya, Kecamatan Kutawaluya. Sementara kejadian kedua terjadi pada Sabtu, 3 Januari 2026, di Desa Kedungjaya, Kecamatan Cibuaya, Kabupaten Karawang.
“Kedua sepeda motor milik korban dilaporkan hilang saat diparkir dalam kondisi terkunci stang,” jelasnya.
Dalam proses penangkapan, petugas terlebih dahulu mengamankan pelaku pertama di halaman kediamannya. Saat itu, pelaku kedapatan menguasai satu unit sepeda motor yang diduga merupakan hasil tindak pidana.
“Dari hasil penggeledahan, petugas menemukan satu set kunci letter T atau ASTAG serta satu pucuk pistol mainan yang diduga digunakan dalam melancarkan aksinya,” ungkapnya.
Berdasarkan keterangan pelaku pertama, petugas kemudian melakukan pengembangan dan berhasil mengamankan pelaku kedua di kediamannya. Dari lokasi tersebut, polisi turut mengamankan satu unit sepeda motor lain yang diduga hasil pencurian.
“Berdasarkan pemeriksaan sementara, kedua terduga pelaku mengakui telah melakukan aksi pencurian di sejumlah lokasi lain di wilayah Kabupaten Karawang. Saat ini kami masih terus melakukan pengembangan guna mengungkap tempat kejadian perkara lainnya,” tambah IPDA Cep Wildan.
Saat ini, kedua terduga pelaku beserta seluruh barang bukti telah diamankan di Mapolres Karawang untuk menjalani proses penyidikan lebih lanjut sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum yang berlaku.
