KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polres Karawang melalui Satuan Reserse Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (Satres PPA) dan PPO bergerak cepat mengungkap kasus dugaan tindak pidana persetubuhan terhadap anak yang terjadi di wilayah Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang.
Dalam kasus tersebut, polisi berhasil mengamankan seorang pria berinisial OD yang diduga sebagai pelaku.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Cep Wildan menyampaikan, penangkapan dilakukan pada Sabtu, 24 Januari 2026 sekitar pukul 21.30 WIB, berdasarkan laporan polisi yang diterima pada hari yang sama.
“Petugas telah mengamankan satu orang tersangka berinisial OD yang diduga melakukan tindak pidana persetubuhan terhadap anak sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 81 dan/atau Pasal 473 ayat (3) juncto Pasal 473 ayat (1) KUHP,” ujar IPDA Cep Wildan, Minggu (25/1/2026).
Peristiwa tersebut terjadi pada Sabtu, 24 Januari 2026 sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB di wilayah Kecamatan Kutawaluya. Korban diketahui merupakan seorang anak perempuan berstatus pelajar tingkat SLTP yang berdomisili di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
Kasus ini terungkap setelah korban menunjukkan perubahan perilaku dan kondisi emosional di rumah. Ibu korban kemudian menghubungi ayah kandung korban yang juga bertindak sebagai pelapor.
Dalam keterangannya, korban mengaku telah menjadi korban persetubuhan secara paksa oleh terlapor.
Mendapatkan informasi tersebut, pelapor langsung melaporkan kejadian itu ke Polres Karawang untuk diproses secara hukum.
Menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut, Satres PPA dan PPO Polres Karawang segera melakukan penyelidikan intensif hingga akhirnya berhasil mengamankan tersangka pada hari yang sama.
Dalam proses penanganan perkara, polisi turut mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, di antaranya:
Satu potong kerudung warna hitam
Satu potong kaos silat lengan pendek warna hitam
Satu potong celana silat panjang warna hitam
Satu potong bra warna cokelat
Satu potong celana dalam warna pink
“Saat ini tersangka telah dilakukan penahanan sejak tanggal 25 Januari 2026 guna kepentingan penyidikan lebih lanjut. Polres Karawang berkomitmen menangani setiap kasus kekerasan terhadap anak secara tegas, profesional, dan transparan,” tegas IPDA Cep Wildan.
Ia menambahkan, pihak kepolisian tidak akan mentolerir segala bentuk kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan dan anak, serta akan memproses setiap laporan sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum yang berlaku.
Selain itu, Polres Karawang juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar dan segera melapor apabila mengetahui atau mengalami tindak pidana serupa.
“Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak takut melapor. Perlindungan terhadap perempuan dan anak menjadi prioritas utama kami,” pungkasnya.
