KARAWANG – Ratusan personel Polresta Karawang turun langsung ke jalan sejak pagi, Senin (10/8/2026). Sebanyak 468 personel, terdiri dari 328 personel Polresta dan 140 personel Polsek, dikerahkan melalui program Sapa Pagi GAZZ Karawang untuk memberikan pelayanan sekaligus menjaga keamanan dan kelancaran aktivitas masyarakat.
Program tersebut menjadi salah satu bentuk nyata kehadiran polisi di tengah masyarakat, terutama saat jam sibuk pagi ketika mobilitas warga dan pelajar meningkat.
Personel disebar di berbagai titik strategis, mulai dari kawasan sekolah, persimpangan, hingga jalur yang rawan terjadi kepadatan lalu lintas.
Salah satu pelayanan terlihat di depan SMPN 1 Telagasari. Personel Polsek Telagasari membantu para pelajar menyeberang jalan sekaligus mengatur arus kendaraan agar tetap tertib dan lancar.
Kehadiran polisi di lokasi tersebut pun mendapat respons positif karena para siswa dapat memasuki lingkungan sekolah dengan lebih aman, sementara pengguna jalan tetap bisa melintas dengan tertib.
Kapolresta Karawang Kombes Pol Mario Prahatinto melalui Kasi Humas Ipda Cep Wildan mengatakan, Sapa Pagi GAZZ Karawang merupakan bentuk pelayanan kepolisian yang mengutamakan kehadiran langsung dan respons cepat.
“Personel hadir untuk memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada masyarakat, termasuk membantu para pelajar menyeberang serta memastikan arus lalu lintas tetap tertib dan lancar. Ini merupakan bentuk pelayanan Polri yang langsung dirasakan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya, pengerahan ratusan personel pada pagi hari juga menjadi langkah preventif untuk mengantisipasi kemacetan, kecelakaan lalu lintas, maupun potensi gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat.
Bukan sekadar mengatur kendaraan, polisi juga dituntut memberikan pelayanan secara humanis dan membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
“Polisi tidak hanya hadir ketika terjadi gangguan keamanan. Kami ingin masyarakat merasakan kehadiran polisi sejak mereka memulai aktivitas di pagi hari,” katanya.
Program Sapa Pagi GAZZ Karawang, yang mengusung semangat Gerak Cepat dan Hadir Tepat, juga menekankan pentingnya respons anggota terhadap situasi yang ditemui langsung di lapangan.
Dengan pola pelayanan tersebut, personel tidak hanya dituntut berada di lokasi, tetapi juga mampu membaca kebutuhan masyarakat dan memberikan tindakan secara cepat dan tepat.
Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan, arus lalu lintas di sejumlah titik terpantau aman, tertib, dan lancar. Para pelajar pun dapat beraktivitas menuju sekolah dengan lebih aman.
