KARAWANG, AlexaPodcas.ID – Tim Resmob Unit Jatanras Satreskrim Polres Karawang berhasil membekuk seorang pelaku pencurian kendaraan bermotor (curanmor) yang beraksi di kawasan parkir pabrik PT HM Sampoerna Tbk, Kawasan Industri KIIC, Telukjambe Timur. Ironisnya, pelaku merupakan mantan karyawan perusahaan tersebut.

‎Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Ipda Cep Wildan membenarkan penangkapan tersebut.
‎
‎“Pelaku ini mantan karyawan di lokasi kejadian dan memanfaatkan situasi untuk melancarkan aksinya,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
‎
‎Ia menyebut pelaku berinisial N (34) telah diamankan setelah terbukti melakukan pencurian dengan pemberatan di area parkir pabrik.
‎
‎Kasus ini terungkap dari dua laporan polisi yang diterima Polsek Telukjambe Timur pada 13 Maret 2026.
‎
‎Aksi pertama terjadi pada 11 Februari 2026, ketika korban Sukartin kehilangan sepeda motor Honda Beat biru tahun 2024 di area parkir pabrik saat hendak pulang karena sakit. Kerugian ditaksir mencapai Rp20 juta.
‎
‎Selang sebulan, kejadian serupa kembali terjadi pada 13 Maret 2026. Korban Muamar kehilangan sepeda motor Honda Beat hitam tahun 2023 saat diparkir di lokasi yang sama.
‎
‎Berdasarkan keterangan sekuriti, kendaraan korban dibawa keluar oleh seseorang yang tidak dikenal. Kerugian diperkirakan mencapai Rp16 juta.
‎
‎Berbekal rekaman CCTV yang sempat viral di media sosial, tim Resmob melakukan penyelidikan intensif hingga akhirnya mengantongi identitas pelaku.
‎
‎“Kami mengungkap kasus ini dari analisis CCTV yang sempat viral di media sosial,” ungkapnya.
‎
‎Pada 7 April 2026, pelaku berhasil diringkus di Perum Bumi Karawang Baru, Telukjambe Timur.
‎
‎Dari tangan pelaku, polisi mengamankan barang bukti berupa satu unit sepeda motor hasil kejahatan.
‎
‎“Pelaku berhasil kami tangkap di Telukjambe Timur beserta barang bukti kendaraan hasil curian,” ucapnya.
‎
‎Saat ini pelaku beserta barang bukti telah diamankan di Mapolres Karawang untuk menjalani proses hukum lebih lanjut.
‎
‎Atas perbuatannya, pelaku dijerat Pasal 477 KUHP tentang pencurian dengan pemberatan dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal tujuh tahun penjara.
‎
‎Polres Karawang mengimbau para pekerja di kawasan industri untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan, terutama saat memarkir kendaraan, dengan menggunakan kunci pengaman tambahan guna mencegah tindak kejahatan serupa.
‎
‎“Kami imbau masyarakat agar lebih waspada dan menggunakan kunci ganda saat parkir kendaraan,” pungkasnya.
