KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Sesosok perempuan tanpa identitas ditemukan meninggal dunia di pinggir saluran air kawasan KJIE, Desa Margamulya, Kecamatan Telukjambe Barat, Kabupaten Karawang, Sabtu (28/2/2026) sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB.
Jasad korban pertama kali ditemukan oleh dua petugas kebersihan jalan, Ranim dan Sating, saat melakukan pembersihan rutin di sekitar jalan raya KJIE, tepatnya di depan area TMIIN. Korban ditemukan dalam posisi tertelungkup dan masih mengenakan pakaian lengkap.
Kapolres Karawang, Fiki N. Ardiansyah, melalui Kasi Humas Cep Wildan, membenarkan adanya penemuan tersebut.
“Saksi melihat benda yang menyerupai tubuh manusia di pinggir saluran air. Setelah dipastikan, mereka segera melapor kepada pihak keamanan dan Polsek Telukjambe Barat,” ujar Cep Wildan.
Polisi yang menerima laporan langsung mendatangi lokasi untuk melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), memasang garis polisi, serta meminta keterangan dari para saksi. Di sekitar lokasi, petugas tidak menemukan identitas maupun dokumen milik korban.
Adapun ciri-ciri sementara korban mengenakan kemeja kotak-kotak warna gelap, celana jeans, dan jaket abu-abu. Usia serta alamat korban masih dalam proses penyelidikan.
Jenazah telah dievakuasi ke RSUD Karawang untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut guna mengetahui penyebab kematian.
“Kami mengimbau masyarakat yang merasa kehilangan anggota keluarga agar segera melapor ke kantor polisi terdekat,” pungkasnya
