KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Seorang wanita tanpa identitas ditemukan meninggal dunia di Pos Ronda Jalan Bunut Kertayasa, Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, Kecamatan Karawang Barat, Kabupaten Karawang, Sabtu (28/2/2026) sekitar pukul 15.00 WIB.
Kapolres Karawang melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menyampaikan bahwa penemuan tersebut berawal dari laporan warga.
“Kami menerima informasi dari masyarakat terkait adanya seorang perempuan yang meninggal dunia di pos ronda. Petugas segera menuju lokasi untuk melakukan pengecekan dan pengamanan TKP,” ujarnya.
Unit Inafis Satreskrim Polres Karawang bersama Unit Reskrim Polsek Karawang kemudian melakukan olah TKP dan pemeriksaan awal.
Dari hasil sementara, tidak ditemukan identitas maupun tanda-tanda kekerasan pada tubuh korban.
Jenazah telah dibawa ke RSUD Karawang untuk pemeriksaan medis lebih lanjut guna memastikan penyebab kematian.
Pihak kepolisian masih melakukan penyelidikan serta mengimbau masyarakat yang merasa kehilangan anggota keluarga agar segera menghubungi Polres Karawang.
