KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Setelah dilakukan pencarian intensif selama lebih dari 24 jam, tim gabungan dari kepolisian, Basarnas, dan relawan akhirnya berhasil menemukan korban tenggelam di Irigasi POJ Citarum Timur yang berlokasi di Dusun Munjul Kidul RT 034/006, Desa Curug, Kecamatan Klari, Kabupaten Karawang.

‎Korban diketahui bernama Agus Ardani (27), warga setempat, ditemukan dalam kondisi tidak bernyawa pada Jumat (10/10/2025) sekitar pukul 23.15 WIB.

‎ Jenazah korban ditemukan oleh tim SAR yang tengah melakukan penyisiran di sekitar lokasi, setelah terlihat mengambang terbawa arus air.
‎
‎Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menyampaikan bahwa proses pencarian dilakukan sejak laporan pertama diterima dari warga yang melihat korban diduga melompat dari jembatan irigasi tersebut.

‎“Pencarian dilakukan menggunakan perahu karet dan alat pendeteksi bawah air. Setelah upaya intensif sejak kemarin, korban akhirnya ditemukan dan langsung dievakuasi oleh tim gabungan,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan, Sabtu (11/10/2025).

‎Dari keterangan saksi, sebelum kejadian korban sempat terlihat datang ke lokasi jembatan. Salah satu saksi sempat menegur korban, namun korban hanya diam.
‎
‎Tak lama berselang, sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB, saksi lain melihat korban terjun dari jembatan dan tenggelam di sekitar area Pos Ronda.
‎
‎“Tim gabungan langsung melakukan evakuasi dan pencarian begitu laporan diterima. Namun setelah korban ditemukan, pihak keluarga menyatakan menolak dilakukan autopsi dan telah membuat surat pernyataan resmi,” tandasnya.

‎Jenazah korban kemudian diserahkan kepada pihak keluarga untuk dimakamkan di tempat pemakaman umum setempat. (Lan)
