Polresta Karawang Bongkar Oplosan LPG 3 Kg Jadi 12 Kg, Tiga Tersangka Diamankan

KARAWANG – Praktik nakal mengoplos LPG subsidi kembali dibongkar polisi. Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Sat Reskrim) Polresta Karawang mengungkap dugaan penyalahgunaan LPG subsidi 3 kilogram yang dipindahkan ke tabung LPG ukuran 12 kilogram.

Dalam pengungkapan tersebut, polisi mengamankan tiga tersangka berinisial F, FR dan HES. Ketiganya diduga memiliki peran berbeda dalam menjalankan bisnis ilegal tersebut.

Kasat Reskrim Polresta Karawang AKP M. Nazal Fawwaz memimpin langsung pengungkapan kasus yang dilakukan pada Jumat, 7 Agustus 2026 sekitar pukul 15.00 WIB, di Dusun Selang I, RT 010/RW 003, Desa Ciwaringin, Kecamatan Lemahabang, Kabupaten Karawang.

Kapolresta Karawang Kombes Pol Mario Prahatinto melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Cep Wildan menjelaskan, para pelaku diduga menggunakan peralatan yang telah dimodifikasi untuk memindahkan isi LPG 3 kilogram ke tabung LPG 12 kilogram.

Dari hasil pemeriksaan sementara, F diduga menjadi eksekutor yang melakukan proses pemindahan atau penyuntikan gas dari tabung 3 kilogram ke tabung 12 kilogram.

Sementara FR diduga bertugas mengurus pencatatan keuangan dan pembayaran. Sedangkan HES berperan mencari dan membeli LPG subsidi 3 kilogram, menyiapkan tabung yang akan dipindahkan isinya, hingga menjual kembali LPG hasil penyuntikan.

Modusnya cukup sederhana, tetapi berpotensi membahayakan.

Para tersangka diduga memindahkan isi sekitar 5 hingga 6 tabung LPG 3 kilogram ke dalam satu tabung LPG 12 kilogram. Proses tersebut dilakukan menggunakan pipa besi dan selang regulator yang telah dimodifikasi.

Setelah proses pemindahan selesai, tabung kemudian ditimbang menggunakan timbangan digital agar beratnya disesuaikan dengan tabung LPG 12 kilogram.

196 Tabung LPG 3 Kg Disita

Dalam pengungkapan tersebut, polisi menyita sejumlah barang bukti, di antaranya:

  • 196 tabung LPG 3 kilogram
  • 49 tabung LPG 12 kilogram
  • 1 buku catatan kwarto warna hitam
  • 5 pipa besi
  • 5 selang regulator
  • 1 unit Suzuki APV Pick Up
  • 1 unit handphone Vivo
  • 1 unit handphone Infinix
  • 1 unit handphone Oppo
  • 1 timbangan digital

Polisi menduga praktik tersebut telah berjalan selama kurang lebih satu bulan.

LPG subsidi 3 kilogram disebut diperoleh dari sejumlah warung di sekitar lokasi dengan harga sekitar Rp19 ribu per tabung. Setelah dipindahkan, LPG ukuran 12 kilogram hasil penyuntikan kemudian dijual sekitar Rp150 ribu per tabung.

Penjualan dilakukan berdasarkan pesanan, dengan frekuensi sekitar tiga sampai empat kali dalam seminggu.

Terancam 6 Tahun Penjara dan Denda Rp60 Miliar

Atas dugaan perbuatannya, ketiga tersangka dijerat Pasal 55 UU Nomor 22 Tahun 2001 tentang Minyak dan Gas Bumi, sebagaimana telah diubah dengan Pasal 40 angka 9 UU RI Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 tentang Penetapan Perppu Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 tentang Cipta Kerja menjadi Undang-Undang, juncto Pasal 20 huruf C KUHPidana.

Ancaman hukuman yang menanti para tersangka yakni pidana penjara paling lama enam tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp60 miliar.

Saat ini, Unit Tindak Pidana Tertentu (Tipidter) Sat Reskrim Polresta Karawang masih melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap para tersangka dan saksi, gelar perkara, koordinasi dengan instansi terkait, serta melengkapi administrasi penyidikan.

Polresta Karawang menegaskan bakal terus menindak praktik penyalahgunaan LPG bersubsidi yang dinilai merugikan masyarakat dan berpotensi membuat distribusi energi subsidi tidak tepat sasaran.
