KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Jajaran Polres Karawang berhasil mengungkap kasus pembunuhan terhadap seorang wanita di wilayah Telukjambe Barat dalam waktu kurang dari 1 x 24 jam sejak penemuan jenazah korban.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Ipda Cep Wildan menyampaikan, pihaknya menerima laporan adanya temuan mayat perempuan di saluran air kawasan KJIE pada Sabtu, 28 Februari 2026 sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB.
“Setelah menerima laporan, tim Satreskrim langsung melakukan olah TKP dan penyelidikan intensif untuk mengungkap identitas korban dan pelaku,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Korban diketahui bernama Hida Kasanah (38), asal Ponorogo. Berdasarkan hasil penyelidikan, polisi mengamankan terduga pelaku berinisial BILAL ISMAIL HAMDI (24) pada Sabtu malam sekitar pukul 23.30 WIB di wilayah Telukjambe Barat.
Penangkapan dilakukan oleh tim gabungan Satreskrim Polres Karawang bersama Unit Reskrim Polsek Telukjambe Barat.
“Alhamdulillah, kurang dari 24 jam pelaku berhasil kami amankan berikut barang bukti,” tegasnya.
Dari pemeriksaan awal, motif diduga dipicu persoalan hubungan asmara. Cekcok yang terjadi berujung pada tindakan kekerasan hingga korban meninggal dunia.
Pelaku kemudian membuang jenazah korban ke saluran air di kawasan KJIE untuk menghilangkan jejak.
Saat ini tersangka telah diamankan di Polres Karawang untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut dan dijerat pasal pembunuhan dengan ancaman pidana maksimal 15 tahun penjara.
“Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap tenang dan menyerahkan sepenuhnya proses hukum kepada pihak kepolisian,” tutup Ipda Cep Wildan.
