KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Menjelang pelaksanaan penertiban bangunan liar dan jembatan yang berdiri di atas Kali Apoor, PJT II Rengasdengklok bersama dinas terkait dan Muspika menggelar rapat koordinasi.
Kegiatan tersebut membahas sosialisasi serta evaluasi normalisasi Kali Apoor di sepanjang jalan utama provinsi.
Rapat koordinasi berlangsung di Aula Kantor Kecamatan Rengasdengklok, Kabupaten Karawang.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri Camat Rengasdengklok, Kapolsek Rengasdengklok, Danramil Rengasdengklok, perwakilan Dinas PUPR, UPTD Lingkungan Hidup, serta Kepala Desa Dewisari dan Kertasari.
Dalam sambutannya, Camat Rengasdengklok, Panji Santoso, menyampaikan bahwa penertiban ini merupakan langkah penting untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan mencegah terjadinya bencana, khususnya banjir.
“Penertiban ini harus dilakukan demi kepentingan bersama, agar sempadan sungai tetap terjaga dan tidak ada bangunan yang mengganggu aliran air. Kami berharap masyarakat bisa memahami pentingnya hal ini,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Kapolsek Rengasdengklok, Kompol H. Edi Karyadi, menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam mendukung kebijakan tersebut.
“Kami akan bekerja sama dengan pihak terkait untuk memastikan proses penertiban berjalan dengan lancar dan tidak menimbulkan konflik di lapangan,” katanya.
Perwakilan PJT II Rengasdengklok, Ade Suherman yang akrab disapa Ade Golun, mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya telah memberikan surat peringatan kepada pemilik bangunan yang berdiri di sepanjang Kali Apoor.
“PJT II sebelumnya sudah mengirimkan surat peringatan kepada pemilik bangunan yang dimaksud. Kami berharap masyarakat dapat mematuhi ketentuan yang ada demi kelancaran proses penertiban,” jelasnya.
Rapat koordinasi ini juga membahas langkah teknis yang akan dilakukan, di antaranya pemetaan bangunan di zona sempadan sungai serta pemberian pemberitahuan resmi kepada pemilik bangunan.
Dinas PUPR dan UPTD Lingkungan Hidup akan terus melakukan pengawasan untuk memastikan tidak terjadi pelanggaran di masa mendatang.
Penertiban bangunan di sepanjang Kali Apoor diharapkan dapat mengurangi potensi kerusakan lingkungan serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat sekitar.
Pemerintah setempat pun berharap kebijakan ini dapat dipahami dan didukung oleh seluruh elemen masyarakat demi terciptanya lingkungan yang aman, tertib, dan nyaman.
