KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Seorang pengendara sepeda motor mengalami kecelakaan lalu lintas tunggal di Jalan Raya Jenderal Sudirman, tepatnya di atas Fly Over Cikampek, Desa Pucung, Kecamatan Kotabaru, Kabupaten Karawang, pada Minggu (1/2/2026) sekitar pukul 05.05 WIB.
Kecelakaan tersebut melibatkan satu unit sepeda motor Honda Beat dengan nomor polisi G-4302-ZW yang dikendarai pria berinisial T (52), warga Kabupaten Pemalang.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, IPDA Cep Wildan, menyampaikan bahwa berdasarkan keterangan awal, pengendara diduga terperosok ke jalan berlubang saat melintas di lokasi kejadian.
“Korban melaju dari arah Karawang menuju Cirebon. Saat tiba di atas fly over, diduga terperosok jalan berlubang sehingga kehilangan kendali dan terjatuh,” ujar IPDA Cep Wildan, Minggu (1/2/2026).
Akibat peristiwa tersebut, korban mengalami luka berat pada bagian wajah dan segera dilarikan ke RS Karya Husada Cikampek untuk mendapatkan perawatan medis.
Beruntung, tidak terdapat korban meninggal dunia maupun kerugian materiil dalam kejadian ini.
Petugas dari Polsek Cikampek yang terdiri dari perwira pengawas dan piket fungsi langsung mendatangi lokasi kejadian.
Polisi mengamankan barang bukti, menghubungi Unit Laka Lantas Polres Karawang, serta melaporkan peristiwa tersebut kepada pimpinan guna penanganan lebih lanjut.
IPDA Cep Wildan mengimbau kepada seluruh pengguna jalan agar selalu meningkatkan kewaspadaan, terutama saat melintas di jalur yang kondisi jalannya kurang baik, terlebih pada waktu pagi hari.
“Kami mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati, memperhatikan kondisi jalan, dan mengutamakan keselamatan dalam berkendara,” pungkasnya.
