KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah bersama Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kabupaten Karawang melakukan peninjauan langsung ke lokasi bencana banjir di wilayah Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan, Kabupaten Karawang, Sabtu (31/1/2026).
Kegiatan peninjauan tersebut berlangsung sejak pukul 08.00 WIB hingga 13.00 WIB, dengan lokasi utama di Desa Muarabaru.
Peninjauan dilakukan sebagai bentuk kepedulian pemerintah daerah bersama unsur TNI-Polri dalam memastikan kondisi masyarakat terdampak banjir serta langkah penanganan yang telah dan akan dilakukan.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut turut hadir Bupati Karawang H. Aep Syaepuloh, S.E., Dandim 0604/Karawang Letkol Inf Naryanto, S.Kom., M.Han., Sekda Karawang H. Asep Aang Rahmatulloh, S.STP., M.P., Kalak BPBD Karawang Usep Supriatna, A.P., M.Si., Kapolsek Cilamaya, Danramil Cilamaya, Camat Cilamaya Wetan, unsur Muspika, para kepala desa, personel Polres Karawang, serta BPBD Kabupaten Karawang.
Berdasarkan hasil peninjauan, banjir merendam dua desa, yakni Desa Muara dan Desa Muarabaru. Di Desa Muara, sebanyak 199 rumah terdampak dengan total 711 jiwa dari 254 kepala keluarga (KK), terdiri dari 42 balita, 9 bayi, dan 41 lansia. Ketinggian air di wilayah tersebut berkisar antara 20 hingga 40 sentimeter.
Sementara itu, di Desa Muarabaru, tercatat 433 rumah terdampak dengan jumlah 1.396 jiwa dari 421 KK, termasuk 79 balita, 13 bayi, dan 98 lansia, dengan ketinggian air mencapai 30 hingga 80 sentimeter.
Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan persiapan bantuan logistik di BPBD Kabupaten Karawang. Selanjutnya, rombongan meninjau langsung kondisi warga terdampak di Desa Muarabaru serta melihat lokasi tanggul yang jebol di Dusun Tanjung Jaya, Desa Muara.
Peninjauan diakhiri dengan koordinasi bersama unsur terkait di Kantor Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan.
Melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Cep Wildan, Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah menegaskan komitmen jajarannya dalam penanganan bencana banjir di wilayah tersebut.
“Polres Karawang bersama Forkopimda akan terus bersinergi dalam penanganan bencana banjir. Kami melakukan pengamanan lokasi, membantu pendistribusian bantuan, serta memastikan keselamatan dan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat terdampak dapat terpenuhi,” ujar IPDA Cep Wildan menyampaikan pernyataan Kapolres.
Ia juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada terhadap potensi banjir susulan serta mengikuti arahan dari petugas di lapangan demi keselamatan bersama.
