KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Seorang oknum Ketua RT di Desa Kutajaya, Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang, diduga melakukan praktik pungutan liar (pungli) terhadap warga penerima Bantuan Langsung Tunai Sementara (BLTS).
Oknum RT tersebut disebut-sebut meminta sebagian uang bantuan yang diterima Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM). Selasa (25/11/2025).
Dari informasi yang dihimpun, oknum RT diduga memungut uang sebesar Rp100 ribu dari setiap KPM yang menerima BLTS sebesar Rp900 ribu. Adapun jumlah penerima di Desa Kutajaya tercatat mencapai 160 KPM.
Seorang warga berinisial IS, yang merupakan salah satu penerima manfaat, membenarkan adanya permintaan uang oleh oknum RT tersebut.
Menurut IS, oknum RT datang langsung ke rumah ketuk pintu warga dan meminta bagian dari dana bantuan tersebut.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Kepala Desa Kutajaya, Deni Lesmana, ketika dikonfirmasi tidak menampik adanya dugaan pungli yang dilakukan oleh perangkat tingkat RT.
“Saya tidak tahu menahu terkait pungutan tersebut. Ada atau tidaknya pungutan oleh oknum RT, saya lepas tanggung jawab,” kata Deni.
Namun, ia menambahkan bahwa jika benar ada pungutan, kemungkinan hal itu dilakukan dengan dalih sukarela.
“Kalau pun ada oknum RT yang meminta ke KPM, itu hanya meminta secara sukarela atau tidak ada paksaan. Nanti saya tanyakan ke RT uang tersebut dipungut dia secara sukarela atau tidak,” ujarnya.
Deni menegaskan bahwa tindakan oknum RT itu dilakukan tanpa sepengetahuan pemerintah desa.
“Oknum RT itu melakukan tindakan di luar pengetahuan saya, sama sekali tidak ada instruksi dari pemerintah desa atas praktik pungutan itu,” tegasnya.
Meski demikian, pihaknya memastikan akan menindaklanjuti dugaan pungli tersebut agar persoalan segera mendapat kejelasan dan tidak merugikan warga. (Lan)
