KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polres Karawang terus menindaklanjuti kasus dugaan penganiayaan terhadap anak disabilitas yang terjadi di wilayah Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan, Kabupaten Karawang.
Saat ini, kasus tersebut telah memasuki tahap penyidikan, dan pihak kepolisian telah memanggil sejumlah saksi untuk dimintai keterangan.
Kapolres Karawang, AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas, Ipda Cep Wildan, menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya telah menerima laporan resmi dari keluarga korban dan langsung melakukan langkah-langkah penyelidikan lanjutan.
“Saat ini kita sudah dalam tahap penyidikan dan kita akan memanggil 5 saksi untuk dimintai keterangan,” ujar Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas, Ipda Cep Wildan, Rabu (12/11/2025).
Polres Karawang juga telah memeriksa pihak keluarga korban serta mengumpulkan sejumlah bukti yang berkaitan dengan dugaan tindak kekerasan tersebut.
“Kita akan terus melakukan penyelidikan dan penyidikan untuk mengungkap kasus ini dan menangkap pelaku,” tambah Ipda Cep Wildan.
Lebih lanjut, Polres Karawang mengimbau masyarakat untuk turut berperan aktif memberikan informasi apabila mengetahui hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kasus ini.
“Kita butuh bantuan masyarakat untuk mengungkap kasus ini,” kata Kasi Humas.
Kasus ini telah menimbulkan keprihatinan di tengah masyarakat Karawang. Polres Karawang menegaskan komitmennya untuk menuntaskan penyelidikan dan menegakkan hukum secara adil.
Diketahui sebelumnya, korban berinisial R, seorang anak disabilitas, menjadi korban dugaan penganiayaan di wilayah Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan pada 5 November 2025.
Korban sempat dievakuasi oleh petugas Polsek Cilamaya ke RSUD Karawang untuk mendapatkan perawatan intensif.
Pihak keluarga kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polres Karawang pada 11 November 2025, dan laporan tersebut kini telah ditindaklanjuti oleh pihak kepolisian.
