KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah terkait ketahanan pangan nasional, jajaran Polres Karawang melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman bibit jagung hibrida di lahan baku sawah yang berlokasi di Dusun Jabon, Desa Wadas, Kecamatan Telukjambe Timur, Kabupaten Karawang.
Kegiatan dimulai sejak pukul 07.30 WIB dan berlangsung dengan lancar serta penuh semangat kebersamaan, pada Minggu (1/11/2025).
Penanaman dilakukan di atas lahan seluas 20.000 meter persegi atau sekitar 2 hektar, yang merupakan milik Kepala Desa Wadas, H. Jujun Junaedi, S.H.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Kapolsek Telukjambe Timur, Kanit Intelkam, Panit Reskrim, serta personel Polsek Telukjambe Timur.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan penanaman jagung ini merupakan bentuk nyata dukungan Polres Karawang terhadap program ketahanan pangan sekaligus upaya meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian di wilayah Karawang.
Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud kepedulian Polri dalam mendukung program ketahanan pangan nasional.
”Kami berharap langkah ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat serta menjadi contoh kolaborasi antara aparat kepolisian dan warga dalam memanfaatkan lahan produktif,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Lebih lanjut, Ipda Cep Wildan menambahkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut juga menjadi bagian dari komitmen Polres Karawang untuk terus hadir membantu masyarakat, tidak hanya dalam bidang keamanan dan ketertiban, tetapi juga dalam aspek sosial dan ekonomi yang berdampak langsung pada kesejahteraan warga.
