KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Warga Kelurahan Tunggakjati, Kecamatan Karawang Barat, Kabupaten Karawang, digegerkan oleh suara ledakan dahsyat yang terjadi pada Kamis malam (23/10/2025) sekitar pukul 22.20 WIB.
Ledakan tersebut berasal dari Gudang PT Dame Alam Sejahtera yang berlokasi di Jalan Proklamasi, Karawang Barat.
Sesaat setelah ledakan, api besar langsung melalap bangunan gudang. Kobaran api semakin cepat membesar karena lokasi tersebut diketahui merupakan tempat pengolahan oli B3 yang mudah terbakar.
Petugas pemadam kebakaran Kabupaten Karawang bersama relawan dan aparat kepolisian segera datang ke lokasi untuk melakukan pemadaman dan pengaturan arus lalu lintas.
Sebanyak enam unit mobil pemadam diterjunkan untuk menaklukkan si jago merah.
Salah satu warga sekitar, Johan, mengaku mendengar suara ledakan keras sebelum api membumbung tinggi dari area gudang.
“Terdengar suara ledakan yang sangat keras, lalu tiba-tiba muncul api besar. Saya tidak tahu pasti penyebabnya, yang jelas ledakannya cukup mengagetkan warga,” ujar Johan saat ditemui di lokasi kejadian.
Akibat peristiwa tersebut, arus lalu lintas di Jalan Proklamasi mengalami kemacetan cukup parah. Bahkan, sekitar empat rumah warga di sekitar lokasi ikut terbakar akibat percikan api yang menjalar.
“Dampaknya lumayan parah. Jalanan macet karena banyak warga yang berhenti menonton, lalu oli dari gudang juga berceceran di jalan. Beberapa rumah warga di dekat lokasi ikut terbakar juga,” tambah Johan.
Setelah upaya pemadaman yang berlangsung selama tujuh jam, api akhirnya berhasil dipadamkan pada Jumat pagi (24/10/2025) sekitar pukul 06.20 WIB. Beruntung, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa kebakaran ini.
Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, pihak berwenang masih melakukan penyelidikan untuk mengetahui penyebab pasti terjadinya kebakaran tersebut. (Lan)
