KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polres Karawang bergerak cepat menindaklanjuti laporan masyarakat terkait adanya sekelompok remaja yang diduga akan melakukan aksi tawuran di kawasan Jembatan Baru Kepuh, Karawang, pada Minggu dini hari (21/09/2025).
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Cep Wildan menjelaskan, kegiatan patroli tersebut merupakan bagian dari upaya Sat Samapta Polres Karawang yang dipimpin Kasat Samapta AKP Wahyu Kurniawan.
Patroli dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi tindak kejahatan jalanan (C3), penyakit masyarakat, aksi premanisme, tawuran remaja, serta potensi gangguan kamtibmas lainnya di wilayah hukum Polres Karawang.
“Sekitar pukul 03.30 WIB, tim patroli Sat Samapta berhasil mengamankan lima orang remaja,”ujarnya.
Dalam proses pengamanan, sempat terjadi perlawanan dari beberapa remaja yang mencoba menghindar dan melawan petugas.
”Namun berkat kesiapsiagaan dan kemampuan bela diri anggota Sat Samapta, para pelaku akhirnya dapat dilumpuhkan dan diamankan tanpa menimbulkan korban jiwa,” terang IPDA Cep Wildan.
Dari lokasi kejadian, polisi menyita enam unit sepeda motor, delapan bilah senjata tajam, dan satu buah bom molotov.
Selanjutnya, kelima remaja beserta barang bukti diserahkan kepada unit Reskrim Polsek Karawang Kota untuk proses penyelidikan lebih lanjut.
Adapun kelima remaja yang diamankan berinisial AP (17), A (18), R (20), R (17), dan D (21) yang diketahui berasal dari wilayah Tempuran, Kertajaya, Maja, hingga Gempol Rawa.
Kapolres Karawang menegaskan pihaknya tidak akan mentolerir segala bentuk aksi yang berpotensi mengganggu ketertiban umum.
Ia juga mengimbau masyarakat, khususnya para orang tua, untuk meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap aktivitas anak-anaknya, terutama pada malam hari.
“Polres Karawang akan terus meningkatkan kegiatan patroli preventif guna menjaga situasi kamtibmas yang kondusif di wilayah Kabupaten Karawang,” pungkasnya. (Lan)
