KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Rahayu Cikampek Timur menggelar Gebyar Pasar Murah dan Bazar UMKM di halaman Kantor Desa Cikampek Timur, Kecamatan Cikampek, Kabupaten Karawang, pada Sabtu (20/9/2025).
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) sekaligus memberikan ruang bagi masyarakat untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan pokok dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau.
Direktur BUMDes Rahayu Cikampek Timur, Karina Widya Heriyanto, mengatakan bahwa mayoritas warga Desa Cikampek Timur berprofesi sebagai pedagang sehingga acara ini menjadi sarana bagi mereka untuk memasarkan produk lokal.
“Stand yang kami sediakan ada 12 hasil kolaborasi dengan Bank BJB, dan alhamdulillah semua pedagang bisa saling berbagi tempat. Produk yang dipasarkan antara lain makanan berat, asinan, hingga camilan khas buatan warga setempat,” ujar Karina.
Karina juga menambahkan, saat ini BUMDes Rahayu telah memverifikasi delapan pelaku UMKM secara administratif sebagai bagian dari unit usaha UMKM Desa Cikampek Timur. Jumlah tersebut diharapkan akan terus bertambah seiring kelengkapan administrasi dari para pedagang.
Selain itu, BUMDes bekerja sama dengan Bank BJB dalam penyediaan layanan QRIS guna mendukung digitalisasi dan memudahkan masyarakat melakukan transaksi non-tunai.
Kepala Desa Cikampek Timur, Kriswanto, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan program kerja BUMDes Rahayu khususnya di bidang pengembangan UMKM.
“Harapan kami, UMKM yang ada di desa tetap terjaga dan semakin berkembang. Mudah-mudahan dengan adanya gebyar pasar murah ini, UMKM di wilayah kami bisa terbantu,” kata Kriswanto.
Kepala Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Karawang, Dindin Rachmadhy, turut memberikan apresiasi atas inisiatif BUMDes Rahayu Cikampek Timur.
“Kemarin saat bazar UMKM tingkat kabupaten tercatat 725 pelaku UMKM ikut serta. Dengan adanya gebyar pasar murah di desa ini, kami berharap bisa menjangkau lebih banyak pelaku usaha dan konsumen, serta menambah citra rasa produk UMKM Karawang,” ungkap Dindin.
Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi agenda rutin tahunan untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM sekaligus mendukung perputaran ekonomi di tingkat desa. (Karina)
