KARAWANG – Proyek pembangunan jalan penghubung Desa Sarijaya, Kecamatan Majalaya, dengan Kelurahan Plawad, Kecamatan Karawang Timur, menjadi sorotan masyarakat. Pasalnya, ruas jalan yang diduga baru selesai dicor dilaporkan telah mengalami retak di sejumlah titik.
Munculnya keretakan tersebut membuat kualitas coran proyek ikut dicurigai. Sejumlah warga mempertanyakan mutu pekerjaan karena kondisi jalan dinilai belum seharusnya mengalami kerusakan dalam waktu yang relatif singkat setelah proses pengecoran.
Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, proyek tersebut saat ini masih dalam tahap investigasi untuk mengetahui penyebab keretakan.
Pemeriksaan dilakukan guna memastikan apakah pekerjaan telah dikerjakan sesuai spesifikasi teknis, standar mutu, dan ketentuan kontrak yang berlaku.
“Kalau memang baru selesai dicor tapi sudah retak, tentu masyarakat wajar mempertanyakan kualitas pekerjaannya. Kami berharap ada pemeriksaan menyeluruh agar penyebabnya bisa diketahui secara jelas,” ujar seorang warga.
Warga berharap pemerintah dan instansi terkait bertindak transparan dalam mengungkap hasil investigasi.
Mereka juga meminta apabila ditemukan ketidaksesuaian dalam pelaksanaan proyek, pihak yang bertanggung jawab segera melakukan perbaikan sesuai aturan yang berlaku.
Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, belum ada keterangan resmi dari pihak pelaksana proyek maupun instansi yang bertanggung jawab atas pembangunan jalan tersebut.
