KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Satresnarkoba) Polres Karawang berhasil membekuk seorang pria yang diduga sebagai pengedar tembakau sintetis di wilayah hukum Polres Karawang.
Penangkapan dilakukan pada Senin (29/9/2025) sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB di sebuah rumah yang berlokasi di Serang Sari RT/RW 007/017, Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, Kecamatan Karawang Barat.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang Ipda Cep Wildan menjelaskan, keberhasilan pengungkapan kasus ini tidak lepas dari peran aktif masyarakat yang memberikan informasi kepada pihak kepolisian.
“Keberhasilan ini berkat adanya laporan masyarakat yang membantu Satresnarkoba Polres Karawang dalam membongkar peredaran narkotika,” ucapnya.
Tersangka yang diamankan berinisial T (37), warga Karawang Kulon. Dari hasil penggeledahan, petugas menemukan barang bukti berupa 6 bungkus plastik klip berisi tembakau sintetis dengan total bruto 9,93 gram, 1 buah timbangan digital, dan 1 unit handphone merk Vivo.
”Kami sangat mengapresiasi partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung upaya pemberantasan narkoba,” tegas Ipda Cep Wildan.
Dalam interogasi awal, tersangka mengaku mendapatkan barang haram tersebut dari seseorang berinisial M yang kini masih dalam pengejaran pihak kepolisian.
Selanjutnya, tersangka beserta barang bukti diamankan ke Mapolres Karawang untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat dengan Primair Pasal 114 ayat (1) Subsider Pasal 112 ayat (1) Undang-Undang RI Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika dengan ancaman hukuman penjara minimal 4 tahun dan maksimal 12 tahun. (Lan)
