Aspirasi Berujung Teror? Pengurus Karang Taruna Karawang Jadi Korban Dugaan Penculikan dan Penganiayaan

Karawang – Kasus dugaan penculikan dan penganiayaan terhadap seorang pengurus Karang Taruna Desa Tamelang, Kecamatan Purwasari, Kabupaten Karawang, menjadi perhatian publik.

Korban yang diketahui bernama Hendro alias Kodok mengaku mengalami penculikan dan penyiksaan oleh sejumlah orang tak dikenal (OTK) setelah aktif menyuarakan aspirasi terkait peluang kerja bagi pemuda di wilayahnya.

Peristiwa yang kini telah dilaporkan ke Polres Karawang itu memunculkan berbagai pertanyaan di tengah masyarakat.

Pasalnya, kejadian tersebut terjadi tidak lama setelah korban mengunggah ajakan musyawarah dan audiensi terkait kesempatan kerja bagi warga sekitar dengan PT Densus yang beroperasi di kawasan Purwasari.

Ketua Karang Taruna Kabupaten Karawang, Dhani Sudirman, menegaskan bahwa unggahan korban semata-mata bertujuan mendorong dialog antara masyarakat dan perusahaan mengenai peluang kerja bagi pemuda lokal.

“Korban hanya mengajak untuk bermusyawarah, audiensi, dan berdiskusi terkait program kerja bersama perusahaan agar pemuda setempat memiliki kesempatan yang lebih besar dalam memperoleh pekerjaan,” ujar Dhani Sudirman, Kamis (25/6/2026).

Menurut informasi yang diterima Karang Taruna Kabupaten Karawang, korban didatangi sejumlah orang tak dikenal dan dipaksa masuk ke dalam sebuah kendaraan roda empat.

Di dalam mobil, korban mengaku matanya ditutup menggunakan pakaian yang kemudian dilakban sebelum dibawa ke lokasi yang tidak diketahui.

Korban mengaku mengalami berbagai bentuk kekerasan fisik selama berada di lokasi tersebut. Ia disebut ditendang, dicambuk menggunakan selang, hingga mendapat intimidasi yang menyebabkan trauma mendalam.

Korban juga sempat mendengar suara letusan yang diduga berasal dari senjata api. Yang menjadi perhatian, korban mengaku mendengar salah seorang pelaku melontarkan kalimat yang diduga berkaitan dengan aktivitasnya menyuarakan aspirasi masyarakat.

“Sudah dua kali dipanggil, masih saja melakukan hal seperti ini,” demikian pengakuan korban terkait ucapan yang didengarnya saat mengalami penyiksaan.

Pernyataan tersebut memunculkan dugaan bahwa aksi kekerasan yang dialami korban berkaitan dengan aktivitasnya dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi masyarakat mengenai kesempatan kerja. Namun demikian, motif pasti di balik peristiwa tersebut masih menunggu hasil penyelidikan aparat kepolisian.

Ironisnya, aspirasi yang disampaikan korban berangkat dari keresahan banyak pemuda desa yang masih kesulitan memperoleh pekerjaan di tengah keberadaan sejumlah perusahaan besar di wilayah mereka.

Alih-alih mendapat ruang dialog, korban justru mengaku mengalami tindakan kekerasan yang kini menjadi perhatian berbagai pihak.

Setelah mengalami penganiayaan, korban mengaku ditinggalkan di bawah sebuah jembatan dalam kondisi tangan terborgol dan mata masih tertutup. Beruntung, korban berhasil ditemukan dalam keadaan selamat meski mengalami luka dan trauma akibat kejadian tersebut.

Menanggapi kasus ini, Karang Taruna Kabupaten Karawang bersama tim kuasa hukum yang dipimpin Yaya Taryana, S.H., M.H., didampingi Ketua Tim Hukum Karang Taruna Kabupaten Karawang, Dian, telah melaporkan peristiwa tersebut ke Polres Karawang.

“Kami meminta aparat penegak hukum mengusut tuntas kasus ini dan mengungkap siapa pun yang terlibat. Tidak boleh ada ruang bagi tindakan intimidasi terhadap warga yang menyampaikan pendapat secara demokratis,” tegas Yaya Taryana.

Tim kuasa hukum juga mendorong korban untuk menjalani visum guna memperkuat alat bukti dalam proses penyelidikan. Mereka berharap aparat kepolisian dapat mengungkap identitas para pelaku serta motif di balik dugaan penculikan dan penganiayaan tersebut.

Kasus ini kini menjadi sorotan publik karena tidak hanya menyangkut dugaan tindak pidana penculikan dan kekerasan, tetapi juga berkaitan dengan kebebasan masyarakat dalam menyampaikan aspirasi.
