KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Pemerintah Kelurahan Karawang Wetan terus menggencarkan upaya penurunan angka stunting. Lurah Karawang Wetan, Nenti Kurniawati, bersama Bidan Puskesmas Adiarsa turun langsung ke lapangan melalui kegiatan door to door menyambangi balita di wilayah Sukamurni RT 001/RW 003, Selasa (5/5/2026).
“Kami ingin memastikan tidak ada balita yang terlewat dari pemantauan, agar tumbuh kembang anak optimal dan bebas stunting,” ujar Nenti Kurniawati.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Lurah Nenti bersama tenaga kesehatan melakukan penimbangan berat badan, pengukuran tinggi badan, serta memberikan edukasi gizi kepada orang tua balita.
Tak hanya itu, bantuan makanan tambahan seperti telur, susu, dan biskuit juga dibagikan sebagai bentuk intervensi pemenuhan gizi.
Langkah jemput bola ini dilakukan untuk memastikan seluruh balita terpantau secara menyeluruh, sekaligus mencegah terjadinya kasus stunting sejak dini.
Pemerintah kelurahan juga menekankan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam menjaga pola makan dan tumbuh kembang anak.
Bidan Puskesmas Adiarsa menyebutkan, edukasi kepada ibu balita menjadi kunci utama dalam pencegahan stunting. Selain mendorong pemberian ASI eksklusif, pihaknya juga mengingatkan pentingnya MPASI yang tepat serta pola asuh yang baik.
Warga pun menyambut positif kegiatan tersebut. Kehadiran langsung lurah dan tenaga kesehatan dinilai memberi perhatian lebih sekaligus menambah pemahaman masyarakat terkait kesehatan anak.
Kegiatan door to door ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen Kelurahan Karawang Wetan dalam mendukung program nasional percepatan penurunan stunting, sekaligus memastikan generasi masa depan tumbuh sehat dan berkualitas.
