MAGELANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Penolakan terhadap aktivitas tambang dikawasan wisata nasional Candi Borobudur terus bergulir.
Aktivis nasional Ferry Alexa Jambul Merah (BOS JM) ikut angkat suara, menyatakan dukungan penuh terhadap aksi warga yang menolak keberadaan tambang di wilayah tersebut.
Ia menegaskan, Borobudur adalah ikon wisata dan warisan budaya, bukan tempat bagi aktivitas yang berpotensi merusak lingkungan.
“Saya dukung warga. Borobudur itu warisan dunia, bukan lokasi tambang,” ujar Ferry Alexa.
Ferry mengingatkan, jika tambang dibiarkan, dampaknya bukan hanya soal estetika, tapi juga keselamatan dan kenyamanan masyarakat.
“Kalau dibiarkan, siap-siap saja jalan hancur, tanah longsor, dan truk tambang jadi pemandangan wisata baru,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu, ia juga mendesak agar dugaan pelanggaran perizinan segera ditelusuri.
“Hentikan tambang dan periksa izin-izinnya, jangan sampai akal-akalan,” tegas Ferry.
Ferry menyindir pihak-pihak yang dinilai lamban dalam mengambil sikap, termasuk pemerintah daerah yang seharusnya berada di garda terdepan menjaga kawasan strategis nasional.
“Forkopimda jangan diam saja, nanti dikira cuma pajangan,” ucapnya.
Menurutnya, jika tidak segera ditangani, bukan tidak mungkin Borobudur akan berubah wajah dari destinasi wisata dunia menjadi kawasan sibuk kendaraan tambang.
“Pemerintah pusat sebaiknya turun langsung, sebelum Borobudur berubah fungsi,” pungkasnya.
