BEKASI – Pemerintah terus berupaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam memenuhi kewajiban membayar Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB).
Sebagai bentuk apresiasi kepada wajib pajak yang patuh, Kantor Pusat Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah Wilayah (P3DW) Samsat Kabupaten Bekasi memberikan kupon undian berhadiah bagi masyarakat yang membayar pajak kendaraan tepat waktu selama lima tahun berturut-turut.
Program penghargaan tersebut menjadi angin segar bagi para wajib pajak di Kabupaten Bekasi yang selama ini konsisten memenuhi kewajibannya tanpa pernah menunggak pembayaran pajak kendaraan bermotor.
Kepala P3DW Samsat Kabupaten Bekasi, Mochamad Fajar Ginanjar, mengatakan wajib pajak yang melakukan pengurusan pajak kendaraan lima tahunan dan tercatat tidak pernah terlambat membayar pajak selama lima tahun terakhir berhak mendapatkan kupon undian berhadiah.
Menurutnya, program ini merupakan bentuk penghargaan sekaligus motivasi bagi masyarakat agar terus menjaga kepatuhan dalam membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor.
“Pemberian kupon undian ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi pemerintah kepada wajib pajak yang selama lima tahun berturut-turut membayar pajak tepat waktu. Kami ingin memberikan penghargaan kepada masyarakat yang telah berkontribusi dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah melalui pembayaran pajak,” ujar Fajar.
Ia menjelaskan, pajak kendaraan bermotor memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung berbagai program pembangunan daerah.
Dana yang diperoleh dari sektor pajak digunakan untuk pembangunan infrastruktur jalan, peningkatan sarana pendidikan, pelayanan kesehatan, serta berbagai layanan publik lainnya yang manfaatnya dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat.
“Pajak yang dibayarkan masyarakat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan daerah yang sangat penting. Hasilnya kembali kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pembangunan dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik,” katanya.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, Samsat Kabupaten Bekasi akan melakukan verifikasi melalui data pembayaran pajak kendaraan yang tersimpan dalam sistem administrasi.
Wajib pajak yang memenuhi seluruh persyaratan akan langsung menerima kupon undian setelah menyelesaikan proses administrasi pajak lima tahunan.
Pihak Samsat memastikan seluruh tahapan program dilaksanakan secara transparan, profesional, dan akuntabel. Pengundian hadiah juga akan dilakukan secara terbuka guna menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap program apresiasi tersebut.
Melalui program ini, pemerintah berharap kesadaran masyarakat untuk membayar pajak tepat waktu semakin meningkat, sekaligus mampu menekan angka tunggakan pajak kendaraan bermotor di Kabupaten Bekasi.
Selain mendorong kepatuhan wajib pajak, program penghargaan tersebut juga menjadi bagian dari upaya memperkuat sinergi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah dalam mendukung pembangunan Kabupaten Bekasi yang lebih maju, mandiri, dan sejahtera.
Dengan adanya apresiasi bagi wajib pajak yang disiplin, penerimaan daerah diharapkan terus meningkat sehingga mampu mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan dan menghadirkan manfaat yang lebih luas bagi masyarakat. (Pendi)
