KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polemik antara petani tambak dengan pihak Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) terkait proyek revitalisasi tambak yang masuk dalam skema Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) di Kecamatan Batujaya, Kabupaten Karawang, hingga kini belum menemukan titik temu.
Gelombang penolakan kembali mencuat dari masyarakat di tiga desa terdampak, yakni Desa Segarjaya, Desa Baturaden, dan Desa Karyabakti.
Warga mendesak pemerintah daerah untuk mencabut kerja sama dengan KKP karena dinilai belum memberikan kepastian bagi keberlangsungan hidup para petambak.
Dalam rapat mediasi yang digelar di Aula Kecamatan Batujaya dan difasilitasi oleh pihak kecamatan, masyarakat menyoroti proses pematokan batas proyek revitalisasi tambak nila salin yang dinilai masih cacat secara administrasi.
Salah satu tokoh masyarakat, yang akrab disapa Pak Bantul, menegaskan bahwa hasil mediasi belum menghasilkan kesepakatan yang jelas. Menurutnya, pertemuan tersebut hanya menghasilkan kesepakatan sementara berupa penundaan pematokan batas.
“Kami sudah bertemu langsung dengan pihak KKP melalui mediasi yang difasilitasi kecamatan. Dari berbagai argumentasi dan aspirasi yang disampaikan, hanya ada kesepakatan penundaan pematokan batas,” ujarnya.
Ia menjelaskan, kekhawatiran utama para petambak adalah dampak jangka panjang terhadap mata pencaharian mereka. Menurutnya, proyek revitalisasi berpotensi mengganggu sistem usaha perikanan tradisional yang telah berjalan turun-temurun.
Bahkan, kata dia, tawaran skema kemitraan dari pemerintah belum mampu meredakan keresahan warga. Pasalnya, hingga kini belum ada kejelasan terkait pemberkasan maupun dokumen pengukuhan yang seharusnya juga diterima oleh pemerintah desa dan kecamatan.
“Kalaupun ada kemitraan, kami tetap khawatir. Dampaknya bisa meluas, bukan hanya satu sektor. Apalagi belum ada kejelasan administrasi. Intinya, kami tetap menolak revitalisasi ini,” tegasnya.
Aspirasi masyarakat Batujaya mencerminkan kekhawatiran kolektif petambak pesisir Karawang yang menggantungkan hidup dari sektor perikanan. Mereka menilai proyek tersebut berpotensi mengubah ekosistem serta pola usaha yang telah berlangsung lama.
Pak Bantul juga menilai langkah yang diambil pihak KKP selama ini justru memperkuat kesan bahwa aspirasi masyarakat belum sepenuhnya didengar.
“Kami sering datang untuk mengadu dan mencari solusi. Kami juga bagian dari sektor perikanan di Karawang. Kami berharap pemerintah daerah bisa mendengar keluhan kami,” tutupnya.
Massa membubarkan diri secara tertib sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB setelah dilakukan penandatanganan kesepakatan penundaan pematokan batas hingga adanya bukti pemberkasan pengukuhan dari pihak KKP kepada pemerintah setempat dan masyarakat.
Situasi ini menandai meningkatnya tekanan publik terhadap kebijakan PSN di sektor perikanan, khususnya di wilayah pesisir utara Karawang.
Para petambak berharap adanya dialog terbuka yang melibatkan semua pihak agar kebijakan yang diambil tidak merugikan masyarakat.
