KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polres Karawang melalui Satres PPA berhasil mengungkap kasus kekerasan terhadap anak di bawah umur di wilayah Kecamatan Purwasari.
Seorang pria berinisial S (30), yang merupakan ayah tiri korban, telah diamankan.
Peristiwa ini terungkap pada Jumat (27/03/2026) sore, saat ibu korban, DNS (29), pulang ke rumah dan mendapati anaknya, AS (7), mengalami benjolan di kepala serta lebam di kedua mata.
Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menyampaikan bahwa awalnya pelaku mengaku hanya memukul dengan tangan.
“Korban mengalami luka di kepala dan lebam pada bagian mata,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Namun setelah penyelidikan, pelaku mengakui menggunakan gagang sapu dan menampar korban hingga menyebabkan luka.
“Pelaku telah kami tetapkan sebagai tersangka dan diamankan,” tambahnya.
Tidak terima, ibu korban melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke polisi. Berdasarkan laporan tertanggal 31 Maret 2026, petugas segera melakukan pemeriksaan saksi, visum korban, hingga akhirnya menetapkan pelaku sebagai tersangka.
“Pelaku mengakui menggunakan gagang sapu saat melakukan kekerasan. Ibu korban langsung melaporkan kejadian ini ke polisi,” ungkapnya.
Saat ini, tersangka telah diamankan dan dijerat dengan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak. Proses hukum selanjutnya akan dilakukan bersama Jaksa Penuntut Umum.
“Proses hukum akan kami lanjutkan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku,” pungkasnya.
