KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Warga Dusun Jatimekar, Desa Tambaksumur, Kecamatan Tirtajaya, Kabupaten Karawang digegerkan dengan penemuan sosok pria meninggal dunia di area persawahan pada Jumat (31/10/2025) sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang Ipda Cep Wildan menjelaskan bahwa korban diketahui berinisial K (57), seorang buruh harian lepas yang merupakan warga setempat.
“Korban pertama kali ditemukan oleh saksi bernama Naman alias Gopang saat hendak ke sawah. Korban terlihat dalam posisi telungkup di dekat saung, dan setelah dicek, korban sudah tidak bernyawa,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Saksi kemudian memanggil warga lain serta melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepada Kepala Desa Tambaksumur dan pihak Polsek Tirtajaya.
Tak lama, Tim Inafis Polres Karawang tiba di lokasi untuk melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan pemeriksaan awal.
“Dugaan sementara, korban meninggal karena sakit. Keluarga korban juga menyampaikan bahwa korban terakhir berangkat ke sawah pada Rabu (29/10/2025) sore dan tidak kembali ke rumah,” jelasnya.
Pihak keluarga, melalui istri korban berinisial M (52), menerima kejadian tersebut sebagai musibah dan menolak dilakukan otopsi.
Polisi kemudian membantu proses evakuasi korban ke rumah duka serta melakukan dokumentasi di lokasi kejadian.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah menyampaikan rasa belasungkawa atas peristiwa tersebut dan mengimbau masyarakat agar selalu waspada serta segera melaporkan setiap kejadian menonjol di lingkungan sekitar.
“Polres Karawang berkomitmen untuk selalu hadir di tengah masyarakat dalam setiap situasi, baik dalam penanganan kejadian maupun pelayanan kemanusiaan,” pungkas Kasi Humas.
