KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Warga Dusun Jati, Desa Rengasdengklok Utara, Kecamatan Rengasdengklok, digegerkan dengan penemuan mayat bayi perempuan di saluran irigasi KW 14 pada Minggu (14/9/2025) sekitar pukul 15.20 WIB.
Bayi malang tersebut ditemukan dalam kondisi sudah tidak bernyawa dan masih lengkap dengan ari-ari. Dari hasil pemeriksaan awal, diperkirakan jasad bayi telah berada di saluran irigasi selama tiga hari.
Petugas Polsek Rengasdengklok bersama Tim Inafis Polres Karawang langsung mendatangi lokasi kejadian untuk melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti.
Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menjelaskan bahwa hasil pemeriksaan awal tidak menemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan pada tubuh korban.
Namun, pihak kepolisian akan terus melakukan penyelidikan untuk mengetahui penyebab pasti dan mengungkap pelaku pembuangan bayi tersebut.
“Begitu mendapat laporan dari masyarakat, personel Polsek Rengasdengklok bersama tim Inafis Polres Karawang segera mendatangi lokasi dan melakukan olah TKP. Saat ini jasad bayi telah dibawa ke RS Hastien untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut,” ujar Ipda Cep Wildan.
Ia menambahkan bahwa kepolisian akan memeriksa saksi-saksi dan mengumpulkan bukti-bukti di sekitar lokasi penemuan.
Kapolres Karawang, AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah, menegaskan bahwa pihaknya berkomitmen mengusut tuntas kasus ini.
“Kami berkomitmen mengusut tuntas kasus ini agar memberikan keadilan bagi korban dan memberikan rasa aman bagi masyarakat,” tegas AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah.
Polres Karawang juga mengimbau masyarakat yang memiliki informasi terkait peristiwa ini agar segera melaporkannya kepada pihak kepolisian terdekat guna mempercepat proses penyelidikan. (Lan/*)
