Satpam Objek Vital Waduk Jatiluhur Ditemukan Tewas dengan Tangan Terborgol, Polisi Selidiki Dugaan Pembunuhan

PURWAKARTA – Seorang petugas keamanan (satpam) objek vital Waduk Jatiluhur ditemukan meninggal dunia dalam kondisi mengenaskan di tepian danau kawasan Tanggul Ubrug, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat, Jumat (24/7/2026) siang.

Korban diketahui bernama Sumarna (40). Saat ditemukan, korban masih mengenakan seragam dinas lengkap, sementara kedua tangannya dalam kondisi terborgol ke belakang. Temuan tersebut membuat aparat kepolisian menduga korban menjadi korban tindak pidana.

Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, Sumarna sebelumnya bertugas menjalani piket malam di kawasan Waduk Jatiluhur. Namun, sejak sekitar pukul 03.00 WIB dini hari, korban tidak lagi dapat dihubungi sehingga menimbulkan kecurigaan rekan-rekan kerjanya.

Kepala satuan pengamanan bersama warga kemudian melakukan pencarian hingga akhirnya korban ditemukan sekitar pukul 11.00 WIB di tepian danau.

“Ketemu jam 11 siang dalam air di pinggir danau, tangannya terborgol ke belakang,” ujar Warta, warga di sekitar lokasi, Jumat (24/7/2026).

Menurut keterangan warga, korban sebelumnya diduga sempat menegur sekelompok orang yang hendak melakukan aksi vandalisme atau mencoret-coret fasilitas di area Waduk Jatiluhur.

“Kabarnya dia melarang orang yang mau curat-coret. Ya wajar karena memang tugas dia menjaga area waduk. Aksi curat-coret malam Rabu, selang satu hari diduga kelompok itu datang lagi,” ungkapnya.

Sementara itu, Kasat Reskrim Polres Purwakarta AKP I Made Purwantara membenarkan kondisi korban saat ditemukan.

Hingga kini, Satreskrim Polres Purwakarta masih melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), mengumpulkan barang bukti, serta memeriksa sejumlah saksi untuk mengungkap penyebab pasti kematian korban dan mengidentifikasi pelaku.

Polisi juga mengimbau masyarakat yang mengetahui informasi terkait peristiwa tersebut agar segera melapor guna membantu proses penyelidikan.

Kasus ini masih dalam penanganan kepolisian, dan penyidik belum menyampaikan kesimpulan mengenai motif maupun pihak yang bertanggung jawab atas kematian korban.
