KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Sinergi antara TNI-Polri, Pemerintah Kecamatan Karawang Barat, Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, serta masyarakat kembali diwujudkan melalui kegiatan Jumat Bersih yang digelar di wilayah Karawang Barat, Jumat (5/6/2026).
Kegiatan kerja bakti tersebut difokuskan pada pembersihan dan pengangkatan tumpukan sampah yang menyumbat Saluran Air Kamojing di Lingkungan Paledang RT 010 RW 018, Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, Kecamatan Karawang Barat.
Tumpukan sampah yang selama ini menghambat aliran air dan menimbulkan bau tidak sedap berhasil diangkat oleh para peserta kerja bakti. Upaya tersebut dilakukan untuk memperlancar aliran air sekaligus mengantisipasi potensi banjir saat musim hujan.
Kegiatan ini melibatkan berbagai unsur, di antaranya Camat Karawang Barat, Bhabinkamtibmas Kelurahan Karawang Kulon Aiptu Ali Mardi, anggota Koramil Karawang Kota, staf Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, petugas kebersihan Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Karawang, staf dan Satpol PP Kecamatan Karawang Barat, serta para pengurus RT dan RW setempat.
Bhabinkamtibmas Kelurahan Karawang Kulon, Aiptu Ali Mardi, mengatakan kerja bakti tersebut merupakan bentuk kepedulian bersama terhadap kebersihan lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat.
“Kerja bakti ini penting agar saluran air tidak tersumbat sampah. Jika aliran air lancar, risiko banjir dapat diminimalisir dan lingkungan menjadi lebih sehat. Kami mengajak seluruh warga untuk terus menjaga kebersihan serta tidak membuang sampah sembarangan,” ujarnya.
Selain membersihkan saluran air, kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana mempererat kebersamaan antara aparat pemerintah, TNI-Polri, dan masyarakat dalam menjaga lingkungan sekitar.
Warga setempat tampak antusias mengikuti gotong royong dan bersama-sama membersihkan area saluran air hingga kondisi kembali bersih dan lancar.
Selama kegiatan berlangsung, situasi terpantau aman dan kondusif. Pemerintah Kecamatan Karawang Barat berharap semangat gotong royong melalui program Jumat Bersih dapat terus dipertahankan guna mewujudkan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan nyaman bagi seluruh masyarakat.
