CIREBON, AlexaPodcast.ID – Hujan deras yang mengguyur Kabupaten Cirebon pada Senin (5/1/2026) sore memicu bencana banjir bandang di Desa Pamengkang, Kecamatan Mundu.
Jebolnya tanggul sungai menyebabkan aliran air bercampur lumpur menerjang permukiman warga, dengan titik terparah dilaporkan terjadi di Perumahan Grand Pamengkang.
Berdasarkan rekaman video yang beredar dari lokasi kejadian, air berwarna cokelat pekat mengalir deras membelah jalanan perumahan.
Debit air yang meningkat secara tiba-tiba membuat aktivitas warga lumpuh total. Arus deras bahkan menyulitkan warga untuk keluar rumah dan menyelamatkan diri.
Warga menyebut banjir bandang ini terjadi akibat tanggul sungai di sekitar permukiman tidak mampu menahan tingginya debit air kiriman.
Akibatnya, air meluap dan langsung menerjang rumah-rumah warga dengan kekuatan arus yang cukup berbahaya.
Situasi di lapangan dilaporkan sangat genting. Sejumlah warga, termasuk anak-anak dan lansia, masih terjebak di dalam rumah karena ketinggian air dan derasnya arus membuat evakuasi mandiri tidak memungkinkan.
“Tolong dibantu, ini sudah banjir, kali jebol di Perumahan Grand Pamengkang. Mohon bantuannya Tim SAR, kanan-kiri sudah banjir. Masih banyak warga yang di dalam rumah,” ujar salah seorang warga dalam dengan suara panik.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, warga sangat mengharapkan kehadiran petugas dari BPBD Kabupaten Cirebon maupun Basarnas untuk melakukan evakuasi darurat, terutama di titik-titik dengan arus air paling deras dan ketinggian genangan yang terus bertambah.
Tak hanya Desa Pamengkang, banjir juga merendam ratusan rumah di desa tetangga, yakni Desa Banjarwangunan, Kecamatan Mundu.
Wilayah yang terdampak cukup parah meliputi Blok Jaga Tamu dan Blok Lobunta. Ketinggian air dilaporkan bervariasi, mulai dari sekitar 30 sentimeter hingga mencapai sepinggang orang dewasa di sejumlah titik.
Seorang warga Banjarwangunan, Jai, mengungkapkan air masuk ke permukiman dengan sangat cepat seiring meningkatnya debit air sungai.
“Kondisi di Blok Jaga Tamu sudah terendam banjir cukup tinggi. Kami berharap ada perhatian segera dari pihak terkait, terutama Pak Kuwu, karena kondisinya cukup parah di Jaga Tamu dan Lobunta,” kata Jai saat ditemui di tengah genangan banjir.
Masyarakat di wilayah Kecamatan Mundu diimbau tetap waspada terhadap potensi banjir susulan, mengingat intensitas hujan masih tinggi.
Warga juga diminta segera mengungsi ke tempat yang lebih aman apabila debit air kembali meningkat.
Sementara itu, pengguna jalan disarankan menghindari akses menuju Desa Pamengkang dan Banjarwangunan untuk sementara waktu demi keselamatan. (Kirno)
