KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Enam remaja diamankan aparat Polsek Telukjambe Timur bersama Tim Dalmas Polres Karawang saat diduga hendak melakukan tawuran dengan modus “perang sarung”, Sabtu dini hari (21/2/2026).
Mereka diciduk di wilayah Desa Pinayungan, Kecamatan Telukjambe Timur, sekitar pukul 02.30 WIB saat petugas melakukan patroli rutin guna mengantisipasi gangguan kamtibmas menjelang Ramadan.
Kapolres Karawang, AKBP Fiki N Ardiansyah melalui Ipda Cep Wildan mengatakan, para remaja tersebut terlihat berkumpul dengan gerak-gerik mencurigakan.
Setelah diperiksa, petugas menemukan sarung yang telah dimodifikasi dan diduga akan digunakan dalam aksi tawuran.
“Untuk mencegah bentrokan yang bisa membahayakan warga, petugas langsung mengamankan mereka ke Mapolsek Telukjambe Timur,” ujar Cep Wildan.
Selain enam remaja yang seluruhnya masih berstatus pelajar, polisi juga menyita empat sepeda motor dan enam potong kain sarung yang diduga telah dipersiapkan untuk perang sarung.
Saat ini, para remaja tersebut masih menjalani pendataan dan pembinaan. Pihak kepolisian juga akan memanggil orang tua serta pihak sekolah guna mencegah kejadian serupa terulang.
Polisi mengingatkan, Ramadan seharusnya menjadi waktu untuk meningkatkan ibadah dan kebersamaan, bukan diwarnai aksi yang merugikan diri sendiri maupun orang lain.
