BEKASI, AlexaPodcast.ID – Anggota Komisi IX DPR RI, Obon Tabroni, menggelar sejumlah program sarasehan di beberapa wilayah Jawa Barat, di antaranya Bekasi, Karawang, dan Purwakarta.
Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terkait pentingnya gizi seimbang, kesehatan, serta perlindungan ketenagakerjaan sebagai fondasi kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Dalam salah satu kegiatan sarasehan, Obon Tabroni menegaskan bahwa Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) yang diinisiasi pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto merupakan langkah strategis untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang unggul dan berdaya saing.
“Program Makan Bergizi Gratis ini bukan sekadar bantuan makanan, tetapi investasi jangka panjang untuk membangun generasi yang sehat, cerdas, dan produktif,” ujar Obon Tabroni.
Selain isu gizi, Obon juga menyoroti pentingnya kepemilikan jaminan kesehatan bagi masyarakat. Menurutnya, jaminan kesehatan menjadi instrumen penting untuk melindungi masyarakat dari risiko finansial akibat tingginya biaya pengobatan.
“Tanpa jaminan kesehatan, satu kali sakit saja bisa mengganggu kondisi ekonomi keluarga. Karena itu, negara harus hadir memastikan masyarakat terlindungi,” katanya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Obon Tabroni turut bekerja sama dengan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan untuk mensosialisasikan Program Jaminan Sosial Ketenagakerjaan (Jamsostek).
Ia menjelaskan bahwa BPJS Ketenagakerjaan memberikan perlindungan nyata bagi para pekerja, baik formal maupun informal.
“Jika tenaga kerja peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan meninggal dunia, akan diberikan santunan sebesar Rp 42 juta, serta beasiswa pendidikan bagi dua orang anak hingga lulus strata satu (S1),” jelas Obon.
Tak hanya itu, Obon Tabroni juga terlibat dalam kegiatan sosialisasi Penyiapan Kehidupan Berkeluarga bagi Remaja (PKBR) yang diselenggarakan oleh BKKBN Provinsi Jawa Barat.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan membekali para remaja dengan pemahaman tentang perencanaan kehidupan berkeluarga agar tercipta keluarga yang sehat, sejahtera, dan berkualitas.
“Remaja perlu dibekali pengetahuan sejak dini agar mampu merencanakan masa depan keluarga dengan baik, sehingga dapat meminimalisir berbagai persoalan sosial di kemudian hari,” pungkasnya.
Melalui berbagai kegiatan tersebut, Obon Tabroni berharap masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya gizi, kesehatan, perlindungan sosial, dan perencanaan keluarga sebagai pilar utama pembangunan manusia di Jawa Barat. (Saependi)
