KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Kepolisian berhasil mengamankan seorang pria bernama Azis Herwanto (23), pelaku penikaman yang terjadi di Perum Garden City, Desa Cengkong, Kecamatan Purwasari, Karawang, pada Selasa (9/12/2025) malam.
Peristiwa bermula ketika pelaku datang ke rumah pasangan suami istri Gom Gom Tambunan (38) dan Elina Mahulae (39) untuk meminjam uang sebesar Rp1 juta.
Pada sore harinya, pelaku kembali dengan alasan hendak mengembalikan uang tersebut, namun tiba-tiba melakukan penyerangan menggunakan senjata tajam.
“Pelaku menusuk leher, tangan, dan telinga korban Elina, lalu juga menusuk leher belakang Gom Gom,” ujar Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, Selasa malam.
Warga yang mengetahui kejadian tersebut segera melapor, dan petugas Polsek Purwasari langsung menuju lokasi.
Pelaku berhasil diamankan tak lama setelah kejadian dan kemudian diserahkan ke Polres Karawang untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
Sementara itu, kedua korban mengalami sejumlah luka tusukan dan langsung dilarikan ke rumah sakit untuk mendapatkan perawatan medis.
“Motif pelaku masih dalam penyelidikan,” pungkas Ipda Cep Wildan.
