KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Warga dibuat kecewa dengan kondisi proyek turap pada peningkatan jalan Tirtasari–Kalenkupu, Kecamatan Tirtamulya, Kabupaten Karawang. Selasa (26/11/2025).
Proyek yang baru selesai dikerjakan sekitar satu minggu itu kini sudah tampak miring serta mengalami retak di sejumlah titik.
Proyek yang seharusnya memperkuat bantaran dan mencegah longsor tersebut justru dikhawatirkan tidak mampu bertahan lama.
Kondisi ini memunculkan sorotan tajam dari warga sekitar, terlebih proyek bernilai Rp 398.471.000 tersebut menggunakan anggaran Perubahan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (P-APBD) Kabupaten Karawang melalui Dinas PUPR.
Warga menilai kualitas pekerjaan diduga tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi teknis yang seharusnya diterapkan.
Retaknya turap dan badan jalan dalam waktu singkat membuat masyarakat bertanya-tanya mengenai proses pengerjaan dan pengawasan proyek.
Salah seorang warga, Andri Somantri, mengaku geram melihat hasil pembangunan yang terkesan dikerjakan secara asal-asalan.
”Proyek kejar target biar ditindaklanjuti. Belum seminggu turapnya udah doyong mau rubuh, sebagian udah ancur retak,” ungkap Andri.
Menurutnya, kondisi turap yang miring dan retak sebelum digunakan secara optimal menjadi bukti lemahnya pengawasan dan kualitas proyek yang dipertanyakan.
Andri bahkan menyebut pihaknya berencana meminta penjelasan kepada instansi terkait mengenai kualitas konstruksi yang dianggap merugikan masyarakat.
”Masyarakatnya disuruh taat pajak, eh duit pajaknya dibangunkan asal jadi. Kami bakal minta pihak terkait kasih penjelasan. Ini jelas merugikan warga,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, pihak pelaksana dari CV Hutami & CO saat dikonfirmasi enggan memberikan penjelasan detail terkait kerusakan yang terjadi.
“Akan diperbaiki,” jawabnya.
Warga berharap pemerintah daerah serta dinas terkait segera turun tangan melakukan evaluasi menyeluruh agar kejadian serupa tidak terus berulang.
Mereka juga menekankan pentingnya transparansi dan pengawasan yang ketat terhadap proyek-proyek yang menggunakan anggaran publik. (Lan)
