KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Personel Polisi Wanita (Polwan) Polres Karawang melaksanakan patroli sepeda sekaligus pengamanan kegiatan Car Free Day (CFD) yang digelar pada Minggu (16/11) pagi.
Pengamanan difokuskan di dua titik pusat aktivitas masyarakat, yakni kawasan Galuh dan Bundaran Mall Ramayana Karawang.
Kegiatan ini dipimpin oleh IPDA Rita Zahara bersama beberapa anggota Polwan lainnya.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, tim Polwan menyampaikan imbauan serta pesan-pesan keamanan kepada warga dan para pedagang yang hadir di area CFD.
Pelaksanaan patroli sepeda oleh Polwan ini menjadi agenda rutin yang mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari Polres Karawang.
Tujuannya untuk memastikan keamanan, ketertiban, dan kenyamanan masyarakat yang berolahraga maupun beraktivitas di area bebas kendaraan bermotor tersebut.
Fokus pengamanan meliputi pengaturan arus keluar-masuk pengunjung, pemantauan aktivitas masyarakat, pelayanan informasi, hingga langkah-langkah preventif untuk mencegah tindak kriminal seperti pencopetan dan gangguan kamtibmas lainnya.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah menyatakan bahwa kehadiran Polwan pada kegiatan CFD merupakan bentuk pelayanan humanis yang dihadirkan kepolisian kepada masyarakat.
Selain menjaga keamanan, Polwan juga aktif memberikan edukasi terkait keselamatan dan ketertiban.
Selain melakukan pengamanan, para personel Polwan juga menunjukkan pendekatan humanis dengan berinteraksi langsung bersama masyarakat, memberikan edukasi kepada anak-anak, dan membantu para pengunjung di lokasi.
Kehadiran Polwan disambut positif oleh warga yang mengaku merasa lebih nyaman dengan adanya petugas perempuan di lapangan.
IPDA Rita menegaskan bahwa Polres Karawang berkomitmen terus meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik, termasuk pengamanan pada kegiatan-kegiatan besar seperti CFD.
Menurutnya, CFD merupakan salah satu prioritas pengamanan demi terciptanya ruang publik yang aman, sehat, dan tertib.
