BEKASI, AlexaPodcast.ID – Dalam rangka menjaga stabilitas keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Harkamtibmas), Polsek Babelan Polres Metro Bekasi kembali melaksanakan Patroli Biru pada Minggu dini hari (16/11/2025) sekitar pukul 04.20 WIB.
Kegiatan ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolsek Babelan, Kompol Wito, S.H., M.H., bersama gabungan personel piket fungsi Polsek Babelan.
Patroli yang dilakukan secara mobile tersebut menyasar kawasan Pertigaan Ucam, Desa Babelan Kota, Kecamatan Babelan, Kabupaten Bekasi.
Lokasi ini dikenal sebagai salah satu titik keramaian warga serta jalur yang banyak dilintasi masyarakat pada pagi hari sehingga memiliki potensi kerawanan tindak kejahatan.
“Lokasi tersebut juga menjadi area yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena potensi terjadinya kejahatan jalanan,” ungkap Kapolsek Babelan.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, personel kepolisian melakukan penyisiran di sekitar pertigaan, memantau aktivitas warga, dan meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap situasi lingkungan.
Patroli Biru dilakukan dengan menyalakan lampu rotator biru sebagai tanda kehadiran polisi yang bersifat preventif, sehingga memberikan efek deterrent bagi pelaku kejahatan.
“Patroli Biru ini mengedepankan kehadiran polisi dengan lampu rotator biru menyala sebagai tanda preventif, sehingga berfungsi memberikan efek deterrent terhadap pelaku kejahatan,” jelas Kompol Wito.
Kapolsek menegaskan bahwa patroli ini merupakan upaya preventif untuk menciptakan rasa aman, terutama pada jam-jam rawan.
Ia menyebutkan bahwa patroli dini hari sangat efektif dalam menekan potensi terjadinya tindak kriminal di wilayah Babelan.
Fokus utama patroli meliputi pencegahan berbagai kejahatan jalanan seperti Curas (pencurian dengan kekerasan), Curat (pencurian dengan pemberatan), Curanmor (pencurian kendaraan bermotor), serta mencegah potensi tawuran baik antar remaja maupun kelompok masyarakat.
Petugas juga memantau aktivitas kelompok pemuda yang berkumpul dan berpotensi menimbulkan kerawanan.
Selain itu, tim patroli memberikan imbauan secara humanis kepada warga untuk tetap berhati-hati, menjaga keamanan pribadi, serta segera melapor apabila menemukan potensi gangguan kamtibmas.
Patroli Biru merupakan kegiatan yang secara konsisten kami lakukan untuk memberikan perlindungan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
”Dengan kehadiran polisi di lapangan, kami berharap potensi kejahatan dapat diminimalisir, sehingga masyarakat merasa aman dan nyaman,” pungkas Kapolsek Babelan. (Bento)
