KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Sat Reskrim) Kepolisian Resor Karawang berhasil mengamankan seorang pria berinisial Y (25) yang diduga melakukan tindak pidana persetubuhan dan pencabulan terhadap seorang anak di bawah umur.
Pelaku ditangkap pada Senin (18/10) setelah dilakukan penyelidikan intensif oleh Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Satreskrim Polres Karawang.
Kapolres Karawang, AKBP Fiki N Ardiansyah, melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP M. Nazal F, menjelaskan bahwa kasus ini terungkap setelah pihak kepolisian menerima laporan dari keluarga korban.
Korban, yang diidentifikasi dengan nama samaran Melati (14), merupakan anak dengan berkebutuhan khusus.
AKP M. Nazal F menjelaskan kronologi singkat kejadian. Awalnya pelaku memanggil Korban Melati, pelaku ini menarik korban untuk masuk ke dalam kamar, pelaku sempat mengancam agar korban diam, dengan gerakan isyarat, kalau tidak maka akan dipukul.
Peristiwa tersebut terungkap ketika ibu korban mencari keberadaan anaknya dan melihat sandal Melati di depan rumah tersangka.
”Peristiwa tersebut dipergoki oleh ibu korban yang melihat pelaku dan anaknya di dalam kamar, yang sebelumnya sudah mencari keberadaan korban, dengan melihat sendal milik korban di depan rumah tersangka,” tambah Kasat Reskrim.
Usai menerima laporan, tim langsung bergerak cepat melakukan penyelidikan dan berdasarkan keterangan saksi dan hasil visum.
”Kami berhasil mengidentifikasi serta mengamankan pelaku berikut barang bukti dalam kasus ini,” tandas AKP M. Nazal F.
Atas perbuatannya, pelaku Y dijerat dengan Pasal 82 Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2016 tentang Penetapan Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 2016 tentang Perubahan Kedua atas UU No. 23 Tahun 2002 tentang Perlindungan Anak menjadi Undang-Undang. Pelaku terancam hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N Ardiansyah juga mengimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat agar senantiasa menjaga dan mengawasi anak-anak dari potensi kejahatan seksual serta tidak segan melapor kepada pihak berwajib apabila mengetahui adanya tindakan yang mencurigakan atau melanggar hukum.
