KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Polsek Purwasari bersama Tim Inafis Sat Reskrim Polres Karawang mengevakuasi sesosok mayat yang diduga merupakan seorang tunawisma, Rabu (24/9/2025) sekitar pukul 05.00 WIB.
Penemuan ini terjadi di tepi Jalan Purwasari–Cikampek, tepatnya di bekas parkiran motor milik Pamidu, RT 02/01, Desa Tamelang, Kecamatan Purwasari, Kabupaten Karawang.
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah, melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang Ipda Cep Wildan, menjelaskan bahwa mayat tersebut pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang warga yang merupakan pengurus kebun saat melintas di lokasi. Penemuan itu segera dilaporkan kepada pihak kepolisian.
Menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut, Kapolsek Purwasari Ipda Herawati bersama anggota langsung mendatangi tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan berkoordinasi dengan Tim Inafis untuk melakukan olah TKP serta identifikasi awal.
“Anggota Polsek Purwasari langsung melakukan pengecekan ke lokasi, identifikasi awal, serta mengevakuasi jenazah untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut,” ujar Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan.
Berdasarkan pemeriksaan sementara, korban diketahui berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Dari keterangan saksi, korban diketahui sudah sekitar satu bulan terakhir tinggal di sekitar area tersebut seorang diri dan diduga bukan warga Desa Tamelang.
Saat ini, jenazah telah dibawa ke RSUD Karawang untuk dilakukan proses identifikasi dan visum. Pihak kepolisian mengimbau masyarakat yang merasa kehilangan anggota keluarga atau mengetahui identitas korban untuk segera menghubungi Polres Karawang.
“Kami masih menunggu hasil visum serta akan terus melakukan penyelidikan untuk memastikan penyebab kematian korban,” pungkas Ipda Cep Wildan. (Lan)
