KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Karawang mendatangi lokasi yang diduga menjadi tempat praktik judi sabung ayam di Desa Karangsinom, Kecamatan Tirtamulya, Kabupaten Karawang.
Penggerebekan dilakukan setelah adanya laporan dari masyarakat yang resah dengan aktivitas tersebut.
Petugas bergerak cepat menuju lokasi, namun saat tiba di tempat kejadian, tidak ditemukan adanya kegiatan sabung ayam.
Meski demikian, petugas mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti dan perlengkapan yang diduga digunakan untuk praktik judi sabung ayam.
Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, Ipda Cep Wildan, menjelaskan bahwa video yang sempat viral di media sosial merupakan rekaman beberapa hari yang lalu.
“Video yang beredar itu bukan kejadian hari ini, melainkan rekaman beberapa hari sebelumnya,” ujar Cep Wildan. Rabu (17/9/2025).
Kapolres Karawang AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah, melalui Kasi Humas Polres Karawang, memastikan tidak ada lagi aktivitas judi sabung ayam di lokasi tersebut.
“Sejak Senin kemarin, tim Unit Jatanras Satreskrim Polres Karawang sudah melakukan pengamanan dan pengecekan di lokasi. Hasilnya, tidak ditemukan lagi adanya kegiatan judi sabung ayam,” tegas Cep Wildan.
Pihak kepolisian juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk segera melapor jika mendapati adanya indikasi perjudian di lingkungan sekitar. (Lan)
