KARAWANG, AlexaPodcast.ID – Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Jatisari bersiap meresmikan Unit Pengelola Darah (UPD) setelah Idulfitri 2026.
Kehadiran unit ini menjadi langkah penting untuk meningkatkan kemandirian layanan darah di rumah sakit tersebut.
Dokter Spesialis Patologi Klinik, dr. Ilmi Cahya Ruslina, menjelaskan bahwa sebelumnya RSUD Jatisari masih bergantung pada pasokan darah dari Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI).
“Dulu kami hanya memiliki layanan transfusi darah. Sekarang kami sudah memiliki Unit Pengelola Darah dan siap dikembangkan,” ujarnya.
Izin operasional UPD telah terbit sejak 13 Februari 2026. Saat ini manajemen tengah melakukan pelatihan, konsolidasi, serta melengkapi peralatan.
Targetnya, unit tersebut mulai beroperasi penuh pada April mendatang.
Setelah resmi berjalan, RSUD Jatisari akan mengelola pengadaan dan distribusi darah secara mandiri.
Pada tahap awal, rumah sakit akan menggelar donor darah khusus. Jika jumlah pendonor meningkat, akan dibentuk layanan donor darah keliling.
UPD akan menyediakan layanan transfusi sekaligus pemisahan komponen darah, seperti sel darah merah pekat (PRC), trombosit, dan plasma.
Layanan ini dibutuhkan untuk pasien anemia, demam berdarah, gangguan pembekuan darah, pasien kanker, hingga pasien hemodialisis.
Saat ini operasional UPD didukung delapan tenaga teknis medis dan 15 tenaga nonmedis. Kebutuhan darah di RSUD Jatisari mencapai sekitar 150 hingga 200 kantong per bulan.
“Kami berharap ke depan kebutuhan darah pasien dapat terpenuhi secara mandiri dan lebih cepat,” tutup dr. Ilmi.
