BEKASI, AlexaPodcast.ID – Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kabupaten Bekasi menggelar rapat akhir tahun 2025 dengan menegaskan tekad kuat untuk mempertahankan gelar juara umum pada Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) Jawa Barat 2026.
Komitmen tersebut ditegaskan meski KONI Kabupaten Bekasi dihadapkan pada keterbatasan anggaran serta dinamika dalam pembinaan atlet.
Ketua Umum KONI Kabupaten Bekasi, Reza Lutfi Hasan, menegaskan bahwa tradisi juara telah melekat dan menjadi identitas olahraga Kabupaten Bekasi sejak lama.
“Tradisi juara itu sudah tertanam. Kabupaten Bekasi, terutama KONI-nya, memang dilahirkan untuk menjadi sang juara. Tidak ada kata lain, Porprov 2026 kita harus mempertahankan juara umum,” tegas Reza kepada Cikarang Ekspres, Sabtu (27/12).
Reza mengungkapkan, dukungan dari KONI Jawa Barat serta Dinas Kebudayaan, Pemuda, dan Olahraga (Disbudpora) menjadi penguat di tengah situasi yang penuh tantangan.
Ia mengakui, keterlambatan anggaran membuat sejumlah cabang olahraga terpaksa menalangi biaya pembinaan hingga keberangkatan atlet ke babak kualifikasi.
“Saya paham betul kondisi teman-teman cabang olahraga. Bahkan ada yang berangkat dengan dana talangan sendiri. Tapi komitmen mereka luar biasa, atlet tetap dikirim dan prestasi tetap dijaga,” ujarnya.
Di tengah keterbatasan tersebut, prestasi atlet Kabupaten Bekasi justru menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Pada ajang SEA Games, atlet Kabupaten Bekasi berhasil menyumbangkan 15 hingga 16 medali emas, melonjak jauh dibandingkan capaian sebelumnya yang rata-rata hanya lima medali emas.
“Ini membuktikan bahwa semangat dan potensi atlet kita masih sangat luar biasa,” kata Reza.
Untuk memastikan pembinaan atlet tetap berjalan optimal, KONI Kabupaten Bekasi bersama pemerintah daerah tengah menyiapkan skema alternatif, di antaranya pembinaan dan pengiriman kontingen yang akan dilakukan langsung oleh dinas terkait.
“Yang terpenting pembinaan jalan, kontingen berangkat, dan juara umum tetap di tangan Kabupaten Bekasi,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Umum KONI Jawa Barat, Budiana, menyampaikan apresiasi atas mental juang dan kekompakan insan olahraga Kabupaten Bekasi yang tetap solid meski berada dalam tekanan keterbatasan anggaran.
“Mental teman-teman Bekasi ini teruji. Dalam kondisi sulit jangan surut, tetap kuat. Kekompakan dan gotong royong adalah kunci menjaga tradisi juara,” ujar Budiana.
Ia juga menilai sikap solutif para ketua cabang olahraga patut diapresiasi, terutama keberanian mereka untuk tetap memberangkatkan atlet meski dukungan anggaran belum sepenuhnya tersedia.
“Ini contoh luar biasa. Keterbatasan anggaran bukan alasan untuk menyerah. Kita sabar, badai ini pasti berlalu,” katanya.
Diketahui, rapat akhir tahun KONI Kabupaten Bekasi ini menjadi momentum konsolidasi untuk menyusun strategi menghadapi Porprov Jawa Barat 2026.
